"From the initial interaction to job finish, I was rather impressed. Gordon and his team communicated clearly and honestly about the process, worked hard to accommodated us as much as possible, and finished the job in a timely manner. Very happy with the final result. Would recommend."

"Greg did an excellent job with our flooring and went above and beyond our expectations! Others came in and wanted to laminate over the existing laminate flooring in our kitchen. However, Greg did it the right way and removed 3 layers of laminate and was able to save our existing oak trim in the process. He was also very efficient when it came to using materials. I would absolutely recommend Greg for any flooring installation projects!"

"This was our first time remodeling a house and Kelle made it an outstanding experience. He guided us through every detail and truly built us our dream home. He was upfront on all costs and any potential issues. He managed the project within budget and was right on time. I would certainly recommend Hire DADS to everyone."

"Christopher (Chris) can do any project. His estimate was the best out of three. He explains clearly what he will do. He puts it in writing. He did all the labor in the bathroom remodel, redirect plumbing, redirect wiring, installing the shower tiles and floor tiles. Helped us select our tiles, cabinets etc. He'll take you to stores to select tiles etc. He's very knowledgeable in selecting items that compliment the completed job. Easy to work with. He will become your friend."

"April has been amazing and such an incredible advocate with dealing with permits, historic preservation and changes. Could not have done this project without her calm and expertise every step of the wayâ ¦ from first meeting with April to seeing the drawings for the first time and now in the construction phase my experience has been perfect. I grew up in the home building business and have known all of the architects my dad worked with, some of the best in the business, and now I am adding April to that prestigious list. Looking forward to future projects!"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
