"Terrific experience. Scheduling was easy. My technician, Guy, gave me a call ahead of time, hit the time he said he'd be here and was courteous and efficient. I ran a large mechanical contracting business for years so understand this business. Guy ran through his checks on what is a fairly complex home system. He pointed out problems that were minor, major, or had the potential to be major. We discussed options and timing. Since our system is old, it will be difficult to repair some of the parts and pieces while others would be fairly standard. We may want to look at a new system this summer to avoid a major problem during a future heating season. I will definitely be talking to Sila."

"I bought my unit from NETR in 2018. It worked fine until we discovered it wasn't blowing any cold air. I made the big mistake of hiring someone a family friend recommended and they diagnosed it incorrectly and then basically disappeared on me. Anyway, it took a few weeks but they repaired it today and I was impressed with their courtesy and getting the job done very quickly and successfully. I felt like I was being dealt with honestly. I've had several HVAC companies come to diagnose and all of them told me different things: replace the whole system, new lines, etc. potentially costing tens of thousands of dollars. So I decided to troubleshoot by myself and pinpointed the issue: the filter dryer needed to be replaced. No company wanted to do this small job. I called Emerald HVAC and told them about my issue, they sent in José, who diagnosed the issue to be what I said. He replaced the filter dryer and the AC unit works perfectly now after several years! In short, Emerald HVAC will be my first choice for any HVAC work in the future. They are honest, professional, and reasonably priced. I recommend them without reservation!"

"I had originally thought that a high velocity mini-duct central a/c system was the only option for my Victorian home with baseboard heating. But when Joe Carnevale from Airco explained the benefits of a multi-zone slim-duct system with concealed air handlers in the attic to cool the second and third floors and a conventional system tied to existing (unused) floor registers on the first floor, I was intrigued. After rebates and tax credits (which aren?t available for high velocity systems) the cost was extremely competitive and the fact that the system has four individually controlled zones means that I can adjust the cooling levels to keep operating costs lower. The installation was a little tricky as I asked (owner) Steve Duarte and his crew to run the refrigerant, electrical, and condensate lines through an unused chase to the second and third floors rather than affix a conduit to the outside of the house (which wouldn?t have been allowed due to my home?s historic designation.) The work was done efficiently and with practically no disruption to the day-to-day living that went on during the installation. The left the house and basement very clean. I have been very satisfied with the system?s performance during the several heat waves we?ve experienced this summer. All in all it was a very professional job from start to finish and I would highly recommend Airco Home Comfort Services to anyone considering central air conditioning, and in particular to owners of older homes without existing ductwork.  <br /> <br />"

"They were on time and very professional. They worked on the problem for a few hours. After he said that he couldn&amp;#39;t fix it he called someone he knew that he said had better equipment. When they came he said the problem was already fixed. I was forced to pay a service fee to that company when in fact the problem was already fixed. My problem, although it was fixed, is that the guy didn&amp;#39;t know that he actually fixed it which led me to think he was unsure of what he was doing. I believe this was a unique incident but overall good experience."
