"Workers wore masks and kept a good distance when interacting with us. I am thrilled with the concrete leveling. If the driveway sinks again within 3 years they will fix it for free. Nice folks and excellent results."

"Austin Wells handled our sinking concrete pad and cracks near my garage. He explained everything, neat, and very professional. My wife and I appreciated how he wore a uniform and conducted himself in as an expert in his field. I would definitely call JES again, in particular, Austin Wells to handle any other concrete leveling issues."

"The estimator, Dennis accommodated my scheduling requests, and changes in the contract, he was there as well, when the resurfacing started. My driveway needed a specific piece of machinery; so they used their subcontractor, which was excellent too. F&M came back 3 days later, backfilled, mulch, and seeded the bare spots, then a rep came by to check on the finished project. I love the look of my driveway now and would recommend F&M to friends and family!"

"Before hiring LevelLift, I contacted a friend of mine who owns a Structural Engineering firm, but only work commercial not residential.  So after receiving at least (5) estimates, we agreed that LevelLift was the company to hire.    <br /> Met with Paul Mauer of Levelift Systems, he was very nice, patient and professional along with his team.  Received a proposal for the work noted below: <br /> The work in the basement  included but not limited too grout beneath concrete, excavate & installed timber walls, <br /> raise window well & installed standard home-improvement store grade cover, raise grade, furnished & installed discharge pipes for down spouts, installed seven steel beams, new interior drainage, repaired damaged mortar joints, installed 12" high cast-in-place concrete curb between steel beams and they took care of all the Montgomery County permits and inspections.  In addition, mobilization, site preparation and  furnished & installed discharge pipe for sump pump. <br /> In addition, Paul recommended a very good Structural Engineer to take care of the structural drawings. <br /> The contract payment terms were broken down into four payments with the option of using major credit cards and we have a ten (10) year warranty. <br /> Paul and his team were very responsive, punctual, and professional and the quality of the work was excellent.  We have not had any problems in the basement since 2013.  They are highly recommended. "I spoke with John at Concrete Slabjacking Inc. this afternoon and described the problem. He mothodically asked me series of questions and then asked me if I could send him some pictures. I texted him the pics over the next minute (since I had sent the same ones to two other vendors) fully expecting no call back from them just like other vendors. Within 15 seconds I had a call back from John. He wanted to know more and he liked my suggestion of Face-Timing him on his cell phone! Within a minute I was facetiming him and within minutes John explained to me it was not a problem I thought it was. It was just a door fixing issue and I would have to call a drywall contractor to get the cracked repaired for a couple of hundred dollars! In times when folks are leveraging every opportunity to cause fear in house owner driving them to do un-needed repair work at high costs- John's prompt and honest response not only saved me lots of $$ but gave us tremendous peace of mind! Such businesses need to be appreciated a lot more than they are. Thanks John!"

"Luke and his team installed 2 patios for me and they did a fantastic job! We are so thoroughly impressed with the quality of work; you can tell that Luke takes pride in what he does and we are just so grateful. From our initial consultation to job completion, the process was professional, smooth and timely. These patios are the first phase of our backyard project and we look forward to working with this company again when we install the next phase."

"Kevin and his crew were fantastic.  Kevin came to our home when were were not here to give us a quote on the slab jacking services.  He gave us a price and arranged a time to come do the work.  He and his crew came on time.  Originally he was going to raise only a couple of the slabs but when we got home he raised more than originally stated, not complaining it looked great!  Due to it raining slightly he wasn't able to fill in the holes with concrete so he stated he would come back on a nicer day to complete the job.  He came out as promised and filled in the holes and even filled in the gap between the slab and our front stoop.  Kevin did more work that we expected and the price was great.  Would highly recommend Jacksonville Contracting Company and would definitely use them again. <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in White Marsh, MD

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
