I explained the problem I've been experiencing with my sprinkler system and he gave me very good feedback. I've since learned that the problem I've been experiencing may have originated with my Municipal Water System and it may not actually be a sprinkler system issue. The water company will be coming out to repair a broken valve that may have occurred when the meter was replaced several weeks ago. Ken provided a very reasonable quote and within a week Assal's crew had completely built the patio, reseeded the lawn, and powerwashed the driveway to clean up the worksite - all this despite being rained out for several days. "I moved in to my home in 1997.  The sprinkler system never was used since I moved in and was presumably unusable.  Last fall, I received a notice from the water district threatening fines if I didn't do a back-flow test.  Discussion with the water district led to the conclusion that the cheapest approach might be to disconnect the system from the water main.  My plumber couldn't identify where the connection was.  In desperation, I called Automatic Sprinkler, because, based on the placard on the sprinkler clock, they did the original install.  <br /> When he (don't recall the name) came, he said the system was over 30 years old and was not repairable, so indeed the best solution was to do the disconnect.  He came and did his a few days later. <br /> I feel this firm is very professional, because they stood behind their work and solved my problem, even though I was never their  customer. <br /> <br />"

"After receiving subpar work and constantly not getting things right for several years such as setting the sprinklers to only 1 .5 minutes instead of 15 minutes and forgetting to turn some of my zones on, sprinkler heads constantly breaking, they decided I cant renew my contract because there is a very strict deadline to do so. I left 3 messages in the past 2 months which were also never returned. I was a good customer who bought a sprinkler system from them as well as a new pump for my well, I was also planning to have them drill a new well for me this year. Stay away from A&C not worth the headache"
