"I highly recommend Ultimate Craftsman Home Repair and Remodeling. Mike Belvin and his team are very knowledgeable and professional. We finally discovered the reason we were getting strange cracks in our drywall in the main part of our house was due to truss damage caused by failure of the gang plates at the bottom of our roof trusses. As we are in the most active part of hurricane season, we were very anxious to have the repairs completed quickly. At the time, Hurricane Irma was a category 5 storm in the Carribean, and nobody knew where it would go next. Ultimate Craftsman came in quickly and got the 11 damaged trusses repaired just before the hurricane hit the Florida Keys. Lucky for us, we didn't get affected by that storm, and now we won't have to worry about our roof failing when we get the next one. The trusses were repaired, the ceiling drywall repaired and the ceiling and walls repainted. Everything looks brand new. Overall, they did an EXCELLENT job, on-time and as estimated. I hope to use them again for future remodeling projects"

"The owner is great to work with and his team is efficient, polite and very skilled in their work. They transformed a muddy hilside of a back yard into a wonderful outdoor space with a fireplace. They also provided a walkway around our house and a very nice entrance to the front of our house which was treacherous before. We're looking forward to another project this spring. "That is when we noticed the quality and responsiveness had gone down. The materials they used were not first rate. They did not come out to review the work when it was done. They promised us some things that they would come out; for example, we wanted a large tree planted. They never showed. I put in 2 tickets in April one for the patio needing resanding. When you use the polymeric sand it kind of washes out after a few years. The other one was some landscape work. They ignored both of them despite repeated messages. Finally, we just fired them. We said, “we don’t want to do business with you anymore, period.” The experience was pretty good except the materials they used were not top quality. This is my view, they disagree. Instead of high quality top soil, they brought in filler. When the work was done they did not come out to review the work, to see if there was anything undone. It was very difficult to get them to pay attention to us. This is when we started asking for the tree in the side yard and they promised and promised. Actually, they promised it in 2015 and just ignored us. The designer went away on a cruise and never got back with us. No matter how many times we called we would get, “oh yea, next month or the month after”, that type of thing. So, the company started changing, that is only in my view. The individual workers are good, we used them for irrigation of the work, start up and shut down during the season. We used them for mulch. Punctuality rating – that s a “B” to do the actual work, the follow-up is a different matter."

Slight adaptation to play for pipe under driveway as it's wide, so piped around house through back yard (so potential for future expansion) with no price change. Job done fairly quickly and the guys were courteous, knowledgeable and helpful with questions & inquiries. Provided quick hands-on demo of programming and describing functionality of system. First winterization included with install. Very satisfied so far, especially given the special timed pricing, which happened to be $300 less than nearest competitor."
