"Kyle was personable and did his job with outstanding skill and efficiency. He replaced our garbage disposal in record time and did so being friendly and explaining what we needed to know. I recommend him and his company enthusiastically, without reservation. He is a fine Christian man, and it was my pleasure to meet him. JD"

"American Team Plumbing was very professional from start to finish. I called about a leak I was having in my master bathroom and they were out to repair first thing the next morning! Did I mention the PRICE WAS THE BEST that I had found out of 4 or 5 other companies that I received quotes from?!? They will definitely be my new go-to for plumbing services here moving forward. I’d highly encourage anyone looking for exceptional services at an exceptional price to contact them! 10/10"

"My installer Samuel was top notch, very detailed, pleasant, answered all my questions. Excellent representative. The only problem I had was miscommunication on their end as I was told available payment options and Samuel was told another. Did not affect installation or quality of work at all."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Wilsonville, AL

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
