"It went great, this is a unique service, for DIY-ers. My electric dryer wouldn’t heat, so I went on line and diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. I also watched several how to videos, but none of them matched my dryer. Finally went on Angie’s list and it matched me up with Tin Lizzee which is a chat service to help you through your repair. The technician I talked with was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I did get stuck during the repair and they called me on my cell and talked me through what I needed to do. I know I saved a lot of money by not having an appliance repair person come to my house with the mark up on parts and labor rates per hour I believe I saved at least half of the cost, if not more from ordering on line and chatting and talking to the Tin Lizzee technician, it was $30 well spent."

"I wish my first call had been to Eddie and Repair Tech Plus. He fixed my TV after another repair service told me the situation was hopeless if I didn't spend an unreasonable amount of money with them (after, of course, they'd missed their first appointment with me). The best part of dealing with Eddie instead was his professional and friendly approach; he was prompt, on-time, informative, and frank. He always returned phone calls as promised, showed up as agreed. As an authorized technician, he always called the TV company direct if there were any technical issues that needed dealing with. "Oddly enough, it was when Home Services - VA was reporting to my home to complete a scheduled project that a crack in the casing around the bay window was identified.  Home Services - VA commented how easy the project would be to complete and recommended the work be corrected as soon as possible to minimize the water damage.

The project was completed in a day.  Home Services - VA arrived with all the equipment needed to remove the old material and repair the damage.  All damaged material was removed by Home Services - VA.  The project was conducted in the front of the townhome.  The project drew an audience and several neighbors enlisted Home Services - VA to get their bay windows repaired."

"Despite the long distance to my house (1 hour commute), William came out to provide an estimate for all the different work I needed to have done. He emailed a detailed proposal a few days later. I had a few other estimates (one higher price and one lower price). I scheduled the work with William because I was impressed that he was willing to come out this far for the job, he had good reviews, and his price seemed fair and reasonable for quality work. William and his assistant worked a full week. They had to come back to fix one problem that they forget to remedy and also take a look at some stains in the powder bath tile which unfortunately was a product defect.
Overall, all the work completed was high quality. The drywall work was impressive. They took their time to do it right. They did several layers of thin skim coating and sanding and we have a smooth flawless finish in all the repaired areas. The base and shoe molding cuts are excellent.
We are considering having William do our master bath remodeling if our budget will allow!
William is dependable, knowledgable, skilled, and professional all the way around."

"The representatives were courteous and professional completing the work within a reasonable amount of time. They quickly identified the problem and worked to resolve it to our satisfaction. The cover on the master bath outet was cracked by the contractor who either did not notice the crack or failed to mention it. "Had to file a claim for new clothes dryer, and repairs on fridge. Foothills Star Appliance came to look at both. Eric was the repairman. He was friendly, answered all my questions, and very professional. I would highly recommend his company."

"We choose All City through an Angie's Big Deal.  He managed to take off the front of the dryer (eliminating the need to pull it out of a small laundry room), pulled out the drum and checked the band and pulley wheels.  Neither had been replaced since we bought the dryer new when we built the house. 
     He replaced  the parts for $90 and fixed an interior light that had not worked for 10 years (turned out to be a loose cord), greased the places that needed it, put it back together and cleaned up in less than an hour.   
    He also walked through what else might be causing the problem, but said that the band and pulley wheels were the most likely.  He pointed out something in the front of the dryer that might also be the cause, but when I told him that I'm willing to replace that part as well, he suggested that at a cost of $180 or so, he would recommend that I not do this now, but try the existing fix for 3-4 weeks.  If we still hear the noise, call him back and he will order and install the part without any service fee. 
    He also checked the vents and several other items that sometimes go bad, confirmed that all was well and then proceeded to give me 6-7 tips about what I should and should not do with both the dryer and washing machine to make them last.  He also gave me suggested time periods to properly  maintain the washer and dryer.
   He confirmed that these machines last a long time and he would recommend fixing them as long as possible because the new washers and dryers rarely last more than 3-5 years these days. 
   He arrived about 10 minutes early after calling to make sure that this would not be a problem and got right to work.  He cleaned up after himself.  He was articulate and straightforward. 
   The tech was helpful, honest and clearly competent.  I liked him and will call All City the next time I need a major appliance repair.
