"It took a while before Jon could get to the work (I'm very sure he's a very busy guy). However, it was a small job and he said he would fit it in when he could. He kept to his word and took one complete day to re-sand and re-stain the window sills; he took the cabinet doors to his shop. A week later he came back to put one more coat of lacquer on the window sills and re-install the cabinet doors. The work is beautiful and exactly what I wanted! I had one guy give me a estimate to skip the re-staining and just paint all the cabinets (which would have been completely wrong for the apartment and the building); he didn't want to do what I was asking for. Jon listened to what I wanted, was COMPLETELY professional and the work is absolutely beautiful!"

"Alan and his crew did a beautiful job. I was expecting two panels with a seam in the middle of the headboard and footboard. Instead, they made three panels, and used trim from left-over pieces to cover the seams. The queen size headboard and footboard look like they were originally made for the bedroom set. The bed matches the rest of the bedroom furniture, perfectly. I also want to emphasize that they refinished the wood to a beautiful shade of red/brown mahogany that also matches the rest of the furniture. (I've seen refinished red/brown mahogany end up more like dark brown.) The stain and finish were done to perfection. I couldn't be happier with our "new" headboard and footboard."
