The existing pipe line, water spigot and valves needed updating in order to fix the leak. They fixed the issues and replaced the old parts. And they were AFFORDABLE. I cannot say enough good things about them. They were kind, thorough and professional. They were able to diagnose and explain the problem to me and fix it. "I had used Barney at Affordable Plumbing twice before for other issues. One morning I had noticed water around my main sprinkler system valves once again, about the fourth time since I've lived here. Last September a maintenance person came out to replace a valve. Two years ago, a major plumbing company (who I'll never use again) replaced my water main and put on a regulator. Once before that I had still another problem. Each time water goes under my house! So, I figured that I'd call Affordable Plumbing this time since the other three people didn't resolve the problem by just adding components to the system. <br /> Barney replaced the entire unit with new valves and pvc pipes. He and his apprentice were out here for two hours. He was able to come first thing in the morning before going to another job. I would definitely use him again as he has been in business for a long time and he doesn't gouge you like the big companies do, or lie to you. <br />"

My only complaint about their service was that they charged 3 times what other plumbers had charged me for this same service and I didn't find out it was going to be so high until he was there. I needed my sink unclogged badly so I paid it."

"The technician was supposed to be doing a plumbing inspection and draining the water heater. My wife was home; the guy was at my place for a total of 20 minutes and did not say much, then left. I wanted to talk with him about what he saw and some possible things to work on, but he just gave my wife the invoice and left. I am not an expert in any way, but I would think it would take more than 10 minutes to drain and inspect the water heater alone. But I would not know since I was unable to speak with him. "
