Job was completed in 30 minutes with NO PARTS NEEDED? just adjustment. Ben came in marked pickup truck with no name badge nor uniform identifying him. AFTER repair was completed, he tells me ?the company does not take checks.? (Website CLEARLY states you take checks). I got out my credit card. He then says ?company charges 5% for credit cards.? That is NOT stated on website. I am in business also. I told him that credit card fees are generally around 3%. He admitted that the card company only charges 3%, but the garage door company charges 5%. I said, ?so the garage door company is making a profit on the credit card fees as well.? He first said ?not really,? but then admitted they do. Next, he wants me to pay using Zelle. Well, payment did NOT go to Bill?s!"
