"Good value. Garage door opener works like a dream. Only a couple of things on the â negativeâ side I will mention. The old garage door opener that was replaced had lightbulbs in it. They were not taken out and installed into the new garage door opener so I had to grab a couple of new lightbulbs. Also, more important, the cord that ordinarily hangs down from the opener that can be pulled to allow the door to close when there is no electricity, is missing. I will check with the company to see if I can get one from it."

"My garage door would not close and was stuck open with both cables on either side of the door unspooled from the drum and essentially locking the door at 3ft open. I used Angi to look up nearby contractors and A1 came up. They contacted me very quickly and when I acknowledged I needed service, they were on site within the hour! The end result is that they repaired my issue so that I can use the door again. To get to that point - they walked me through what they planned to do. Midway through the repair, they did ask to meet with me to recommend fully replacing all bars, springs, cables and tracks (for about $1600-$1800), but I declined as I was not ready to make that large a decision and may want to change the garage door in the future. There was a bit of back and forth on whether they would tighten the springs which were insufficiently wound, but they did in the end. I would work with them again. I'd prefer full discussion on what they can do to finish the requested job first."

We were exceptionally pleased with the professionalism and the honesty of the person representing Sears. When we initially called him, he made an appointment for a free inspection.  He arrived at the appointed time. When he inspected our 2 garage doors, which were both off track, he said that the track systems could be replaced, without having to replace the doors. The doors are still in good shape. We had been told by one other company that the doors and tracks all needed to be replaced and their estimate was around $2600.
We made the appointment for him to replace the tracks. He arrived as scheduled and had the tracks replaced within a couple of hours.  The cost was $500, the same as the estimate he gave us.

"The work started on-time and went very smoothly at every stage.  ALL of his crew were respectful, professional and cheerful throughout the project.  It was very important to me that they were respectful and responsive to not only my husband, but to me as well and everyone treated me as an equal which I appreciated.  Greg always let us know when we had to have decisions made with plenty of time.  Though any project has some amount of unpredictability, Greg was very good at explaining the steps.  He had all the supplies here on-time and the build went very smoothly.  The quality of the product is extremely high as well.  We are thrilled with the final garage.  Even our inspector noted the quality and he surely sees many, many garages.   
Greg's crew was not only pleasant, but they were at work every day they were scheduled AND on time.  The cement crew even stayed late one night until 9pm!  The siding looks great, the grading is exactly how we wanted it, and the garage door and window is a perfect match to our house.  The electrician was also very professional and was happy to accommodate our special requests for a special RV 50-amp service panel.  
The project finished on-time and on-budget.  I would highly recommend Greg for your project.  He is a smart contractor who created a high quality project and as a bonus has a great, pleasant and fun personality."
