"Rough Diamond Construction Company did an excellent job remodeling my family room/basement. Nate's attention to detail and his expertise was well worth every dollar paid. He was always in contact with me as well as advocating for me when I had a water problem in my basement with the company who initially made the repair. Because of the water problem I experienced in the summer, I decided to have the entire room renovated - new floors, walls, ceiling, doors, etc. Nate and his crew were professional and efficient. The end result is that the room is absolutely beautiful. I would recommend Nate and his team to anyone - you won't be sorry."

Customers say: Quality work

"Marty and his team were awesome to work with and very professional. On time and the value they delivered was best in class! Neighbors and strangers that pass by have stopped and asked who did our driveway all the time which is a testimonial of their work quality in its self! The swirl design they put created makes our driveway stand out vs. the boring straight brush look you see from most contractors! I highly recommend Marty and Warrior Concrete!!!!!!!"

"We contacted Greg at Omnipro to have pavers added to an existing backyard patio. Greg was great to deal with and his recommendation of which pavers to select was spot on. The work was done timely & the end result exceeded our expectations. The clean up & repair of our yard was also very good. One minor post install issue. Again, Omnipro was very responsive. Highly recommend."

"I put my old Victorian house on the market this summer, and it sold in two days!. I must give credit to S.L. Contractors and wonderful job they did remodeling my house. I got their name from Angie’s List four years ago. My first project was the painting of all the exterior windows. I have three floors. They even repainted the rusty grills at my basement windows. That wasn’t a big job, because the jobs kept getting bigger. Then I had my old pantry converted into a powder room. My next project was the biggest one - removing all the knob and tube wiring and then replacing the plaster with drywall and finally adding can lighting. What I love the most is my new kitchen. The kitchen sold the house! It was exactly what I wanted. Mr. Washington, general contractor, over the years has been a source of information about quality construction. He was kind of a design consultant for the remodel job for the kitchen. When discussing the size of the island, he said “No one ever says the island is too big.” He worked with me and was flexible as I selected decorative touches from retail stores and online. My kitchen was a challenge. It had pine wood paneling and the layout didn’t work. Mr. Washington changed the appliance layout. I needed my hallway tiles to match my kitchen floor. Mr. Washington searched and found tiles in Texas that matched perfectly. I had a positive experience with S.L. Contractors."

"To begin, I’m not typically someone who writes a review for a business, my dining experience, etc, regardless of my position being good or bad.  That said, however, I do find it necessary to write a review for Cargan Industries.   For years, I didn’t have a backyard.  I stepped out of my home and onto a concrete driveway, which lead to a 25’ hill and difficult access to a lower area, which was not a useable space. I finally decided the only way to utilize any of this space was to build retaining walls with steps to access the lower area. At that point, I began researching landscaping companies.  I received a few estimates, and the price tag was hefty, but I understood this going into the project.  Fortunately, a friend recommended I call Mike Swasey, the owner of Cargan Industries, which I did.   Upon contacting Mike, he was candid about his schedule and told me the earliest he could be there was the following week. At first I thought, “How bad do you want the job if you can’t get here until next week?”  I had to check myself though and realize that my project isn’t the only project out there.   Fast forward to the following week and Mike showed up on time and I explained to him the dilemma I was having and my thoughts on the project.  I almost immediately knew he was getting the job at that point. He not only listened to my ideas, but he began asking questions and making additional recommendations that I had not considered. I’ll chalk that up to lack of experience and vision on my end.   I believe things happen for a reason and I’m certain that recommendation from my friend was supposed to happen because I couldn’t have envisioned a greater outcome for this project.  The result was 20’ retaining wall, which provided me with a 2,000 square foot, level back yard. Additionally, I was able to build a detached garage that I had always wanted, but figured could never happen.   I’ll admit, there were some pain points throughout the process as the project turned out to me somewhat of a logistical nightmare due to the amount of materials needed and the lack of space on my property to stage them, along with the equipment needed to complete the project.  This was no fault of Cargan, but rather the limited amount of space I had available to them.  As I reflect back, it still seems unbelievable how Mike and his crew were able to maneuver about my property and complete this project.  My property looked like a construction site with the equipment, dirt, stone, blocks, etc., but they certainly never left it looking a mess when they left each day.   I watched the Cargan team clean-up their tools, my driveway, and even the road where they accessed my driveway to make sure I wasn’t catching any static from the neighbors.    Anyways, I remain so pleased that I can go on and on about my experience. This was the first project completed for me by Mike Swasey and Cargan Industries, which finished just over a year ago. Since then, I’ve had Cargan install a patio for my parents and a few other retaining walls.   Please, if you are considering an outdoor project, call these guys! The entire team is respectful, hard-working, and knowledgeable.     "

"Piernick was a contractor sent out by Lowe's to install the Kitchen Appliances we purchased. (This is why I cannot provide any detailed cost information) They installed a Gas Range/Oven, mounted microwave, & Dishwasher. The installers were great in every aspect, they were professional, efficient and meticulous. The Lowe?s aspect of the transaction did not go smoothly, but Piernick went above and beyond to make sure that everything was taken care of and to compensate for the mistakes made by Lowes. This is a very professional, great company that I look forward to working with more in the future!

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Bethel Park, PA

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
