"Tony showed me all the work that was needed on the day of the estimate.  When he returned, he notified me that he would be late, but complete all work in a timely fashion.  He had me review all the repairs.  I had been dealing with water in my basement for about a year and had several others recommend unsuccessful repairs.  He noted that the shutoff valve to the main waterline was not correctly placed and changed that.  I asked him to look at a "reclining" toilet.  I had it replaced to avoid any additional water leakage.  Tony and Steve are courteous, informative, and follow through with the needed work. They let me know when they were going to be late, when to expect them and checked to see if the later time was workable.  I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to others.

"I had a serious, bathroom pipe leak which other plumbers estimated would take 2 men, a full day, & approximately $2000 to fix, with additional costs for structural, restoration repairs resulting from their efforts to get to the pipe. The Plumbing Gods decided to Intervene, & sent me Jacob! Jacob declared that he could fix my pipe by himself, charging by the job, not the hour, with minimal destruction to my home! I hired him & he successfully completed the job in just over 4 hrs , for $925, & my room looks intact. This will be my plumber for life! Jacob is SMART, honest, hard working, a perfectionist, & he truly cares about the concerns of his customers. He really is superior, in so many ways, to most of the other plumbers I have used. "Pipepals plumbing was 10 stars! Choice was 4 stars. They were timely in assigning the job but I had to keep an eye in the website as notifications did not get pushed via email as expected. They also wouldn't cover all the work recommended by the plumber. Essentially I had a broken pvc in an outside faucet and they wanted him to reuse the faucet instead of replacing it. So I would have had a 1/2 in pipe with 2 connectors...to an old faucet just to save $30. I paid out of pocket so it's right but really? Again plumber was AWESOME. Showed early and returned next day to confirm leak was fixed and patched the holes."

Didn't realize it was buried, my bad. He answered all my questions and explained the workings of it all. That was very helpful. Very thankful to him and appreciate all his help. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
