"Romualdo contacted me personally to gather the details about the project. From start to finish he walked me through what would be required and how the process would turn out. I even learned a bit about how concrete works. Romualdo and his team were timely and efficient. I could not have asked for a more professional individual to work with. If you have any concrete projects and are unsure of where to turn consider Romualdo Construction LLC, to assist you."

"We hired this company to level an almost 60-year-old concrete patio slab. The company was very responsive and did an excellent job leveling the large patio. When they asked what we were going to do as far as a decorative layer on top, we were all ears for suggestions. We wanted to do something interesting but hadn't really thought it through. Mike helped us envision a thin-layer decorative over-coating and gave us a very reasonable cost estimate. We picked a date to start the project, but weather considerations quickly got in the way, as it was late Fall. It became a little bit challenging to work with the company to finally schedule the work the following spring, but when a date was set, and the weather cooperated, the crew eventually came out and did a fantastic job with the decorative coating. They were very flexible regarding our vision for the project, and worked with us at each step of the project to make sure we were involved in all of the artistic decisions, and as a result, the patio looks even better than we could have imagined. We spend every possible moment enjoying our new patio now. We felt very comfortable working with Stabil at every step of the process. We look forward to working with them again in the near future on a second patio space that we would like to refinish, and would recommend them to anyone looking to level their concrete, and/or update the look of their hard-scapes. We definitely plan to hire them again."

"Perfect. Best concrete work I've ever seen. The 12' x 12' pad for the shed was absolutely level in all directions after it dried. The driveway is now 2 years old and not a crack or any other problem with it. Matt also repaired a broken support pier under our house, and did other foundation work after the 2011 earthquake. Great guy to work with, and an awesome crew of concrete finishers."

"I had water damage which resulted in large sections of drywall and insulation being removed. The guys from Maxc Impressions installed new insulation, replaced drywall, skimmed over the “orange peel” ceiling treatment to make it totally smooth, replaced door and floor molding, and painted the room. The drywall work was some of the best I’ve seem as was the painting. They were always on time and cleaned up every day. The workers were compliant with COVID safety measures, kept me informed of work progress and plans and were respectful of my privacy. Their quote for the work was very reasonable and their work was top notch. I will definitely use them again and will recommend them to family and friends."

"It looks fantastic and the team was very efficient and completed the work in about 10 hours.  It took a team of about 7 to complete the work.  The colors were as anticipated.  They came back the next day to apply the double sealant.  Our neighbors used them after seeing what a great job they did with our patio.  Their estimate was in the middle of other estimates we received."

"Exceptionally well installed! Peter and Jose were professional, meticulous and thorough. They worked extra late to ensure everything was installed perfectly and the house was left immaculate. Definitely recommend and will use them again!"

"Tim and his guys did awesome work for us. They came out in really quickly and what I thought would be 2-3 days to pour concrete skirts was finished in 1 morning in 3 hours."

"From the initial visit to the house until the final inspection of the work LevelLift made this experience as painless as possible considering I had to have my foundation supported. We had filed an insurance claim which was denied as the 'settling' had occurred over 50 years and was considered normal (verified by the MD Insurance Commission). The insurance company recommended an geotechnical engineer test the soil which we did. The engineer report found our soil to be soft and recommended piering of the back wall of the house and removal or a large portion of the basement floor to be replaced with reinforced concrete supported by piering as the only means of preventing future settling. LevelLift was up front from the beginning that the house could not be leveled, only stabilized. I requested an all inclusive estimate not wanting to have to deal with additional contractors and wanting a guaranteed price. They answered all my questions, were not pushy and when the work was being done were nothing but professional and courteous. They discovered a sewer pope leak and cleared the area prior to the plumber arriving so all the plumber had to do was cut out the old pipe and replace it cutting down on the cost of the plumber. They added two additional piers to the basement from the initial proposal at no additional cost. They brought in two concrete subcontractors to give them proposals on the concrete work. The one that did the job worked with us to solve a problem that developed since the plumber had to raise the sewer pipe higher than expected to ensure proper drainage due to the settling. I would recommend them to anyone unfortunate enough to need their services."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Capitol Heights, MD

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
