"We found this company to be extremely professional and the service was excellent.  Carl, had come out before the gas line was installed, with the coal basket, to let us see what it would  look like. He wanted to make sure the measurements were correct.  We love our new gas coal basket in our 1938 bungalow.  Carl had it hooked up in a very short time. We would recommend him highly. Karen, who runs the office, was also extremely professional, giving us advice on options, pricing and how best to approach an extremely narrow firebox. They worked to get us in before Thanksgiving. Carl also had quoted a much lower cost on some chimney repairs that need to be made in the spring. We had other estimates. We found him frank, easy to work with and will definitely use his services in the upkeep of our gas fireplace. The biggest cost was for the coal basket at about $1,000.00. It was a pleasure working with Carl and the staff at Chimney Keepers. <br />"

"Smoothest, most professional job ever. We can’t say enough good things about Joe Mareka and Carolina Professional Roofing. Our 20-year-old roof didn’t have any problems but we wanted to replace it before anything went wrong, plus we wanted larger capacity gutters throughout. . We called Joe, who came over that very day and gave us a price. We thought about getting other estimates, but we had used Joe once before for a very minor roof issue 5 years ago and he was fantastic; the price was reasonable, plus we checked Angie’s List reviews and the BBB - all totally positive, so we hired him. Joe told us they could start September 2; on August 30 he called and confirmed, then delivered materials to our property. He and crew arrived early on September 2. He stated maybe 3 hours and made sure everything was going the way it should. The crew of 4 men worked 10 grueling hours, taking reasonable breaks and lunch but otherwise working very hard. They were incredibly neat, covering the plants, sweeping the deck several times, using a magnet device to locate any errant nails. By the time we came home from work on 9/3, the roof was done. You would never know they had been there, everything was left so neat. Due to approaching Hurricane Dorian, gutters were postponed till the following week and were completed on 9/10. Joe did not ask for any deposit up front (which we would have been happy to pay), just told us “You can pay me when the job’s completed.” Which we did. We’re totally impressed with this company."

"Excellent! Strange as it may sound, the visit from Chimneys Plus folks turned out to be the most enjoyable event of my week! Scheduling by phone was easy and quick... and Larry and Eric showed up on time, (wearing masks the whole time, which I appreciate during this pandemic), did a clean efficient job, spent the time to answer my questions and show me the views of the camera going up my chimney, teaching me a lot about the whole business, all the while being friendly not only to me but to my annoying barking little terriers. I really like, and trust, these guys! Thorough and neat and honest... didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I was told in advance what the cost of a chimney cleaning would be... no surprises. I will be using them for all my chimney/ fireplace/woodstove needs in the future, and highly recommend them to everyone."

"They inspected chimney and identified need to seal chimney and flashing as well as re-point the brickwork. They installed the chimney cap I requested. They were punctual and professional. They took pictures before and after of work done on chimney which were very useful. Their prices were higher than I expected, but the warranties are longer and the quality of the work/materials is high. They used grey mortar instead of matching the existing tan which was disappointing."

"Lonnie came out and noticed the vent was compacted and metal vent tubing itself had begun to corrode in the ceiling. A new vent was installed in a couple of hours by going through our ceiling. Could have possibly saved our family from a catastrophic event. Checked the alarms, fire extinguisher, and gave me recommendations on CO2 alarms and a 2nd story evac ladder available on Amazon. Will hire again for work on chimney and gas logs."
