"I have a 1 year old westie who is very intelligent, yet independent, which contributed to some behavior problems I wanted to correct while he was young. I called First Friends and spoke with them regarding my concerns and they immediately talked me through the situation and had me in for a consultation. During the consultation we discussed the behavior issues I was experiencing- specifically inappropriate nipping/biting and difficulties recalling previous training from another facility. The consultation took almost an hour, but they were very through as they wanted to recreate the nipping/biting scenario and stuck with my puppy until he misbehaved. Seeing this behavior first hand, the staff was able to diagnosis his behavior as non-aggressive and recommended training to build his confidence and obedience. <br /> Following the consultation, I enrolled in the 8-week novice class and immediately began to see a difference in my dogs behavior. Bruce and his team are nothing short of amazing! His methodology of education, patience and attention to detail made myself and puppy successful. Each week I could see the progress we were making and our transformation was noted by family and friends. Practicing/reinforcing what Bruce taught in class with our weekly homework and consistency is just what we needed! They were so patient with me from our first encounter during the consultation to our time in training- there was never a dumb question or a problem they could not provide actionable suggestions, education and tools to overcome- they never gave up on anyone or any dog! <br /> You will attend an orientation session the first night without your puppy. This session is over 2 hours long, and at first I did not understand the purpose of this, but after attending this session along with the training sessions everything came together. You must believe in the methodology and understand where Bruce and his team are coming from with their methodology. As an owner, you must be committed to attending class, leading your dog with confidence and completing multiple homework sessions at home to find true success. Dog training is not a one way street of listening to what is covered in class, but a two way street where you as the owner make the commitment to your dog to use the tools presented in and out of class. Bruce has high expectations and a no-nonsense approach, but having attended novice training,  I now understand how this approach helps build confidence not only in the dogs, but owners alike. Bruce has an amazing balance of education/instruction, interaction, discipline, fun and genuine love for animals. He may come off as a hard-nosed guy, but one will very quickly learn he cares deeply and has a big, soft heart for our for our "first friends".  <br /> I am so glad I found Bruce and his team and highly recommend this training facility to anyone with a young or old dog. I will definitely be attending his advanced sessions and even want to try the agility classes too! <br />"

"We called the company for information on the services they provided, and spoke to Antron, who was extremely nice; however, he told me we could be billed for payments. He sent Eric out who explained to us that Antron was mistaken, & their company was not able to accommodate us to actually be billed due to the company being too small.  We are paying on installments before the next service is provided, which is fine.  Eric was extremely professional & polite. He came nicely dressed and ready to spray. He took his time in all of the rooms & explained precisely what he was going to do. He wore booties in the house. When he came back out to spray the outside, he was professionally dressed & let us know he was here. He also swept all of the webs in all of the windows, which we didn't expect! This company is completely different in every way from the company we used for the last 10 years. The OLD company was unprofessional at the end, & sent a "gentleman" who sprayed the house but later found out he was an industrial serviceman. He leaked the liquid all over the house because the sprayer was damaged, and continued to place the sprayer hanging down as he moved which released the liquid. We were very upset since we have a small dog. We had to go through the whole house & pick up the solution as much as we could. It was very refreshing to have a clean professional company do the spraying. Note: we initially paid an additional $80.00 to this new company for the first year start up, but will only be paying them $308.00 for future years. Much less than many other companies wanted to charge us. We are very happy with our service & we are certain we will continue to be. I would recommend this company to anyone! <br />"

"Dave was our service technician.  He was extremely courteous and took time to explain the process and what we could expect.   Dave said if we do not see a change after 7 days (give it 7 days to work) to please call their office.  He  seemed confident in their product and certain we will be pleased with the results.  Dave was very knowledgeable and my husband and I both were pleased with the time he took to explain how the treatment works etc.   It was very interesting and helped us to understand the struggle we have with teeny tiny ants about every two years.  Living on a slab home is one issue we didn't realize would make a difference in the struggle with ants.  This is the first home out of 6 homes we have owned through the years that was built on a slab also first home we have struggled with the tiny tiny ants :).   <br> <br>Our daughter has used Gold Seal Termite and Pest Control and was very satisfied. "This is the second time we'd had Bug-B-Gone out and they did a wonderful job!  The sprayed for ants, spiders, and other crawlies with a environmentally friendly formula.  I didn't have to remove my pets from the house, so that was great!  The problem was immediately solved and the technician also helped my identify another bug I had been seeing around the house, so he was full of information! <br />"

"The gentleman that came out and did the estimate was very nice and informative. No hard sell just the information. He and the installer both apparently love animals and were great with our dog. The installer did a great job putting the fence exaclty were we wanted it even though he had to move a portion of it after he'd already put it in. They were very careful of our exiisting landscaping. The installer also did some training with our dog and us on use of the electric fence which was very effective. Our dog figured it out in about 3 days and we've been letting him outside with no temptation on his part to go through the fence. I would highly recommend dogwatch."
