"We just purchased a 2 family home less than a year ago. We had been smelling gas in our home near the chimney on and off. We called PSEG on 2 occasions, and on one trip they capped the line in the apartment, and the 2nd time they disconnected (what they thought at the time was) the gas line feeding the 2nd floor chimney, but it was the line for the 1st floor. From the consultation, Edmundo was very detailed in his explanation of all the possible issues, and worked with me in the most cost effective way to tackle the issue! Where other companies charged over $200 for the consultation alone, they came out for less than a fifth of that! The next day Byron and his partner came and searched for the issue. They found that the chimney line was connected to the gas stove. They were able to cut and cap the line through the floor of the apartment below, and we haven't smelled gas since!
