"Great -- Al is professional and very conscientious with meticulous attention to detail.  The update to the bathroom vastly improved it's appearance with removal of the old "gold" fixtures and replacement of the old mirror with one framed in wood painted to match the cabinet color.  Painting of the walls and ceilings was well done. <br> <br>The repair to the sheetrock and construction of a new platform for the replacement hot water heater is solid and looks great.  The leak from the old hot water heater had soaked the sheet rock and warped the plywood platform."

"Eitan just recently remodeled our master bathroom.. a complete rip out of old materials and created a beautiful modern paradise! Eitan was friendly and professional (and safe which is important during the pandemic) and completely responsive to our ongoing requests and communication. We had a group text going with my husband and he always got back to our questions within a few minutes! My husband had a very specific and complicated shower configuration that he wanted and eitan was able to make that happen. We had some hiccups along the way, but eitan worked with us best that he could to quickly resolve the issues and was understanding to all our special accommodations during the pandemic (I am pregnant and therefore high risk). His foreman (Jesus) was excellent...Very willing to work within timing that we preffered and was also very respectful of our accomodations. Midway through the project we also added a few minor remodels to our kids bathroom which didn't seem to add too much time to our finished timeline so that was impressive and great. We will definitely work with eitan in the future, we have several other projects in mind and we know we will be taken care of! We love our new bathroom!!!"

However, the project took 2x the estimated time they rarely proactively communicated about timelines or who would be on the job site doing what when."

"They did a number of things. Braced and restrapped water heater and ran copper line for pressure relief to outside. Unclogged master toilet and reseated. Bolted down second toilet. Reconnected clothes dryer vent. Repaired air gap/garbage disposal and drain line under kitchen sink, crawled under house and remove galvanized pipe straps and replaced with nylon pipe clamps. I was a contractor and used to do this work, o an very critical. They did an outstanding job. Went the extra mile several times. I was expecting a bill for a higher amount but they stuck with their estimate. I recommend them highly and would use them again!!"

I live in a condo so there are limits to what I can change, but I wouldn't hesitate to use Bay Home Remodeling aqgain. Gal, part owner and lead contractor, is a dream to work with: professional and friendly, reliable, honest, clear and accommodating, on and on. He listened to what I wanted, offered a varieties of solutions (after all, he's the expert), checked in daily to make sure his workers were on track, dealt with all the paperwork and inspections needed and generally made my project seamless. Gal and his workers were respectful of my home and were always careful about Covid precautions, never making me feel nervous about them working in my home. Bay Home Remodeling wasn't the lowest bid (it wasn't the highest either), but when you have workers in your home for two weeks+, you want to be confident that the work will be done properly and on time, and want to be on the same page as your contractor. "<p>Came and  saw work and promptly followed up with e-mailed written bid. The work area was blocked by 2 story high hedge, so I validated with Jessie (who submitted the bid) that the bid included cutting down the bush and disposing of the cut branches. Jessie responded that the bid did include this.  The bid also said that $1,000 of the cost was for painting the siding once replaced.  I countered that I would paint the siding and we agreed on a price of $6,000.  The workers came on the first day and cut down enough branches to access the house and left them in the yard. I called Jessie that day and said that I would not be able to do the painting unless the bushes were cut down. She assured me that the bushes would be cut down and removed. She later called back and said that the contractor had never said that the bushes were part of the estimate. There was some additional damage to a part of the house that required replacing some of the wood under the siding.  She then said that they would do the additional work and painting instead of cutting down the bush and the price would be $6,500. The original bid was for $7,000.  </p> <p>A week later the work was done when I got home from work on Friday but the bush cuttings, some wood and tar paper were still in the yard.  On Saturday afternoon I received a call while grocery shopping saying that they were going to come to the house to pick up the final payment. I explained that I was not at home and would call them when I got home.  When I got home the owner called again and said that they were coming to pick up the check.  I said that the cut bushes and refuse from the work needed to be taken away and he became irate. I had to ask him not to yell at me. He finally said he would take $2,500 now and then I could pay the last $1,000 on Monday when all the refuse had been picked up.  He even lowered the cost to $900, "because he wanted a good review on Angie's list."   The work supervisor came today, Monday, and cleaned everything up.  I paid $1,000, the final payment.  </p> <p>The actual work was good and the workers good, but Ofer, the owner is not professional and does not communicate well with his workers or his customers.  </p> <br />"
