However, "you get what you pay for." Neo was diligent, friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Neo responded promptly to all telephone calls and text messages. There was no drama with Neo. Neo was a consummate professional. We would definitely recommend S&S Piping and Heat. When we experienced a runaway faucet and a broken shut-off valve in the spring of 2024, Neo was quick to respond. Our over-engineered faucet required more than the replacement of a simple washer. In a professional manner, Neo repaired the faucet, replaced the valve, and corrected a related water-pressure problem. As usual, Neo offered good, solid communications. Yet again, we would definitely recommend S&S Piping and Heat."

"Scott came the very next day on the dot, and started cleaning the furnace and assessing what was wrong. He called in the boss, William, who came right over. I had told them what I thought/knew the trouble was, but they looked for a different solution. They left after 3 hours and it seemed to work for them, but the old problem resurfaced right away after they left. They came back the next day with the part I said was malfunctioning and we were in business as soon as they installed it. Throughout the process they were careful to explain everything, proposing solutions to perceived problems, and quoting a reasonable hourly rate,. "We were very pleased with the work that the Genove technicians did. They removed our 40-year-old gas boiler and associated water heater and replaced it with a new system. They tested the new system carefully, put explanatory tags on all of the relevant pipes and faucets, and cleaned up well. The team members were polite and worked hard. He explained the relationship between roof equipment and condo equipmentI I mentioned to him that my condensate line from AC was trickling water during humid weather. Within minutes he replaced a coupling, and leak stopped. I was very pleased with his quick fix on this, He made Sila look very good in my opinion. "They were very fast to respond to my call and were able to send someone within two hours. The replacement of the hot water heater went well. For the water pipes they use copper crimp fittings instead of soldering so it will be interesting to see how that holds up over the years. My only concern is how they ran the gas line. They use Gastite CSST which is fine, but the CSST is run so it goes downward then back up and then downward again before it enters black pipe that has a moisture trap. It seems to me that if there is any moisture it will end up in the CSST instead of the trap. In addition, there is a pretty good bend in the CSST right before it goes into the trap section. Also, Teflon tape was used on the all the joints instead of joint compound. I think I will get someone from a different company to come in and take a look at it."
