"They came out today to provide an estimate on fixing a frozen pipe. They ran a snake through the pipe to see if anything was in the pipe causing the clog.  They also checked our crawl space to see if they could access the pipe from that area, but unfortunately are not able to.  They're going to have to remove the siding from the house, clear out the pipe, re-insulate it and replace the siding. Their estimate of $1,200 seems like a fair price.  I especially liked the fact that they took off their shoes before entering the house.  Everyone was very professional, prompt and courteous.  I did pay them today for the snake service and inspection."

For $99, I got what I paid for.  Both people were extremely nice, very personable and easy to talk with.  I was surprised that the counter did not look much different after they left than before they came.  I think my expectations were a bit high; as I expected gleaming counters with a shine that would last.  That was not the case. I believe if I had done my research in the beginning I would have known that that the work they did was not going to get me the results I was looking for.  That said, it's not something I would do again.

"Deck Cetera was only one of the 6 companies that contacted me for me to  get a quote from.  They were professional from the start.  Was quick with writing and emailing the details.  They seemingly had all their 'ducks in a row' for the most part. Once the project was started...I had to stay check on them and ultimately they DID DO WHAT OUR CONTRACT said and I am VERY happy about that. It just took more effort on my part to follow up on things to get to that end result.....more than I would have thought. But they DID go to the effort to make sure I was happy and to  do everything I asked. That is much more than most companies do. IT is a beautiful patio and my tenant is happy that we did that for her. Overall...I would give them a letter grade of B+ if there was one.  I will give them a bit ...so I gave them an A."

"After moving into a new condo, I had a variety of jobs to be
tackled from mounting a large heavy mirror to a wall to small fix-ups like
installing a new showerhead. A colleague recommended Matt Cholko and Total Home
Services. She had used Matt’s services when he was just starting out, and he
had made such an impression on her she kept his business card. I called Matt
and left a message with his answering service. He called back that same day,
and we discussed what I needed done. Right then and there, he gave me an
estimate as to how many hours the work would take, and explained the fees,
which I thought very reasonable.
   
On the day of the appointment, Matt and his colleague, Luke, arrived as
promised, carrying tools and equipment to my 8th floor apartment.
They were prepared with everything they needed right down to the mounting
hardware, and set to work right away. For positioning the mirrors and wall
sculptures, they asked for my input, but were also very helpful with
suggestions. When it came time to position the large mirror, it was discovered
that it couldn’t be placed exactly as planned because of the electrical wiring
in the wall behind that area. They recalculated and hung the mirror without any
damage to the wiring or wall, and moved the dresser so that mirror and dresser
were aligned and centered. Not only did Matt and Luke do all the jobs I
requested but they also noticed other little things that could be handled in
the allotted time.
   
Matt and Luke were polite, professional, friendly, and very efficient.
It took only a few minutes to see that they really know what they’re doing. I
had the greatest of confidence that the work was being handled correctly. And
they also managed the cleanup, carting away the mirror wrappings and vacuuming
the sawdust from cutting down the doors. Matt was right on target with his
estimated time, and the cost was as expected. I can recommend Matt and Total
Home Services without reservation. As my decorating and improvement projects
continue, I plan on calling Total Home Services for the help I’ll need.

"I bought a Bid Deal for 5 hours before I knew exactly what I wanted. There was a pin hole leak in the wall, I needed drywall put in. After going back in forth for a while, I finally got him to come out. He finished the work but when you put up drywall you have to let it cure for 24hrs. and then come back and finish sanding. He came back yesterday without Fernado and told me they would come back out today between 9-930am, they still haven't shown up or gotten in contact with me. I would really like them to come back and finish the job. They used the 5hrs and now when they come back it will be at my expense. Now I think they won't come back out.

** Update on 3/13/14 They ended up coming out this morning and completed the sanding which I paid an additional for. I would not recommend them, mainly due to communication. There should be better communication between a client and the service provider, I should not have to ask 3 times for them to come back."
