"Dolan did a total remodel of my master bath in August of 2018. It was very pricey but I've gone with the cheaper options in the past and have found that you get what you pay for. I love the way my bathroom turned out and based on that job, I would have given them A for just about everything. I recommended them without reservation. I then hired them again in March 2018 to do a partial renovation of my kitchen. I replaced my granite counter with quartz, put in a new sink, touchless faucet and tile backsplash. I bought the sink myself and they told me it was cracked and leaking. As I had just been released from the hospital and was on complete bed rest, I didn't see the sink until after it was installed. I did get a credit for the sink I bought but then had to buy the identical sink from Dolan for over $200 more. When the quartz counter was installed, there were two unsightly seams. We did complain about these and the installer came back but they said that was the best they could do. We let it go at that point but a few weeks later, we went to visit friends that just had an almost identical quartz counter installed. We had to search to find the seam in theirs. I took pictures and sent them along with photos of my seams to Dolan. They never responded. We spent over $45,000 in under a year with them and now have counter tops that look terrible. After this, I feel I can no longer recommend Dolan."

"The house we bought had an existing, partially finished, unpermitted basement. We hired Crystal Renovations to re-do the space so it would be functional, more in line with our taste & permitted. They made the laundry room an actual room as opposed to a basement area with a washer & dryer, took down the drop ceiling & replaced it with a real ceiling, took out the 1984 glass block surround to the shower & replaced with drywall, repaired stairs going down to the area & laid new floor throughout. Pedro & his crew were incredibly efficient - the whole process took around 10 days. We were fortunate & they didn’t run into any unforeseen issues once all the demo was done, so the final cost was in line with what had been quoted & the modifications we agreed to. They transformed an ugly, afterthought of a basement into an entire new living space to our house that is functional & looks fantastic. We would definitely hire them again & highly recommend."

The crews arrived on the scheduled date to paint the exterior of a residential home, replace the flooring on a raised deck, and make improvements to the gutter system. "As above...simply marvelous. Eduardo is extremely neat, always cleaning up when done and placed materials and tools away properly. I had originally met Eduardo three years ago when my sliding glass doors needed replacing and ceilings, closets etc. needed painting. His English, at first, was difficult but since that time, he has vastly improved along with his personal talents and experience as a professional. His carpentry skills and his inbred abilities to do most anything are outstanding. He completed work (counters, seating, flooring etc) in my daughter's Cafe in ample time and nicely done for her grand opening. He's hung closet doors, sliding doors, installed faucets, exhaust fans. He's done some plumbing, tiling, a full shower with built in seat, interior and exterior house painting, rake boards, trim, a bit of electrical work, etc. He's repaired, retaped and painted several ceilings. He has replaced all of the rotted boards hither and yon throughout my property; from the front and back porches and decks, to the shed, to the front stairs to the trim around doors, windows etc. Eduardo, most importantly, is honest and trustworthy and, I must say, most respectful...always. I would not and did not hesitate to leave my doors open when I was out. My home was open for him. He takes pride in his work and has quietly done many extra things that have surprised me so. Example; my trash barrels have been brought in for me, my garden tools or hoses have been picked up for me. Saw dust, debris, dust and dirt have all been cleaned away. He is a good person, a hard worker, and is fairly priced. I would recommend him at any time. You may speak to me personally if you wish further information. He would have my number. I truly, truly, appreciate everything that he has done for me. Work still needs doing and he diligently is working on my list: fieldstone walls that need rebuilding, smoke detectors needing replacing, attic vent fan replacement, wallpaper removal, more interior painting, some high hedge trimming, mulching, edging etc. etc. etc. He will shine at anything and everything that you need doing. "<p>This was a 3 month general upgrade to a ranch style house built in 1960. Main house is 3 bedroom 1 bathroom 38'x24' with a 1 room addition 20'x14' added on about 1970. I had the roof replaced and electrical system upgraded from 100 amp to 200 amp about 5 years ago so they did not need anything done at this time. Just a little history.</p> <p>As for this project a lot of things were done for upgrading.</p> <p>   Removed all old wooden siding and replaced with vinyl cedar impression siding. It costs about 25% more than regular vinyl siding but is well worth it if you can fit it into your budget.</p> <p>    Replaced 17 old wooden windows with Harvey vinyl double hung windows.</p> <p>    Replaced 2 old wooden exterior doors with therma true fiberglass doors and 2 new Harvey aluminum storm doors.</p> <p>    Replaced basement exterior door with new insulated steel door.</p> <p>    Replaced metal slider door off kitchen with new Harvey vinyl slider door.</p> <p>    Replaced a total of 10  inside doors  to bedrooms and closets.</p> <p>    Replaced countertop, sink, and faucet in kitchen.</p> <p>    Did a total demolition of bathroom, new walls, new ceiling and new tile floor. Installed new water saving toilet, replaced</p> <p> old bathtub with new 3 piece walk in fiberglass shower. Installed new vanity cabinet with sink and new medicine cabinet.</p> <p>Installed new vanity light, new ceiling light with vent to outside.</p> <p>     Demolished old 12x10 rotted out wooden deck off  kitchen and built new 12x10 3 season room (veranda pvc) with interchangeable screens for summer and glass panels for winter.</p> <p>    Replaced old wrought iron railings (showing their age) from 2 front cement stoops with new veranda plastic white railings.</p> <p><br /></p>  Owners Joe and Jim are very responsive to customers needs and questions. All workers are very conscientious and thorough in everything they do, they pay attention to detail which is somewhat unusual these days.
