"Had an emergency leak in my garage wall from a water heater pipe on a holiday weekend. Did a quick search on Angi and contacted the company. David called me back and came out right away, found the issue and fixed it for a very reasonable price. I will need to have some drywall repaired and that will involve unhooking my water heater and re-installing it, so I will use this company to do that. Very happy with the work and service so far. Would certainly hire them again."

"Jacob and Tim are amazing. I am writing to share our experience for the job they did with the gas line piping installation and water connection at our home. Tim took extra time to explain the scope of work and provided a clear understandable estimate. ( labor, materials, permits, warranty, payment terms and lastly affordable compared to others). NO upsell of services or get you to join their club. Their quality of work was exceptional, and we were impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail throughout the entire process. It is a relief to have such an important project completed safely and efficiently. We truly appreciate their expertise and will certainly use them again and recommend their services to anyone in need of a skilled plumber."

"They are excellent. They replaced hose bids on the house and replaced the water cut off valve. The garbage disposal broke the day before Thanksgiving and they came out in 30 minutes and got it fixed in 20. We would highly recommend them and we will definitely hire them again."

FAQs for water heater repair or service projects in Rock Hill, SC

Warning signs include fluctuating water temperatures, a pilot light that repeatedly goes out, unusual noises from the tank, or complete heating failure. You might also detect a rotten egg smell, indicating a potential gas leak, or notice water that never reaches the proper temperature. If your water heater is over eight years old and displaying these symptoms, the gas valve is a likely culprit. Professional inspection is recommended, especially if gas odors are present.

Water heater gas valves are not universally interchangeable. Each valve must match your specific water heater's make, model, and specifications. Important compatibility factors include gas type (natural gas vs. propane), BTU rating, connection types, and physical dimensions. Using an incorrect valve can result in poor performance, premature failure, or dangerous gas leaks. Always consult your water heater's documentation or a professional plumber to identify the appropriate replacement valve for your unit.
