He helped me figure out how to protect my home, educated me about the implications of recent legislation regarding water heaters, and scheduled an appointment for replacement for late yesterday evening. "Terry excelled at the three things we look for when selecting a contractor to repair or replace items in our home: service, price and timeliness. We had an outside faucet freeze on us during winter causing flooding in our basement bedroom this Spring. We called Terry based upon his ratings. He showed up within the hour and quickly diagnosed the issue, informed us of the process and gave us a very fair quote. He was able to locate the split pipe and replace the faucet assembly in about an hour. Afterwards, he made sure the basement area was clean and even educated us on what can cause these issues and how to prevent it in the future. Extremely friendly, Terry even provided us with a military discount! To top it off, The next day We were concerned with what we thought was low water pressure in my second floor shower. Terry came right over and removed debris from the filters and educated us on clearing our water heater to remove excess rust and debris. "I couldn’t be happier with the service I received! They swapped out our broken old water heater for a high-quality tankless model (worth around $3k) and didn’t even ask for half down upfront. They also relocated my current water softener to its proper spot (the last company had installed it wrong), set up my Aquasana filtration system with UV light and installed new valves under my sinks. They handled everything from start to finish: purchasing all the materials themselves (including the water heater, pex pipe, fittings, wood, screws, and more), completing the install of the new one, they even hauled away the old one and made sure everything was working perfectly before even mentioning payment. "Neighborly Plumbing has to be by far the best plumbing company I’ve ever worked with. We’ve had water issues in our home and contacted five different plumbing companies to have a battery back up sump pump installed because of numerous weather and electrical outages. I was lucky enough to get an estimate from Casey. Not only was he completely knowledgeable with all plumbing codes he was an expert with sump pump systems. All other plumbing estimates had limited knowledge of sump systems and were more than willing to simply dump an extra sump in the basin without any knowledge of how a backup battery worked. In fact those plumbers asked me what I wanted and asked for my suggestions! Seriously!! Need I say I went with Neighborly Plumbing. Their bid was extremely competitive and after all was done and said their quality was heads above everyone else. While completing the job they ended up redesigning the sump system because they found excessive water tables around the property. They wanted to insure that the system they installed was custom to our home and as such they ended up upgrading parts and incurring an additional day of labor for two master plumbers but yet honored my estimate. I’m sure they certainly couldn’t afford to do that on a frequent basis but it goes to show you that there are tradesman still alive and well who insist on quality and function on all jobs that they complete.
