"I called(Friday) Lauder Plumbing and they answered right away. I asked them if they could come on a Monday but Jack offered to come in earlier on Saturday which was nice. I told him what was wrong(I broke the pipe trying to fix a clog) and Jack presented himself very professionally to the situation. It turned out there was still clogging left of what was the old pipe that leads to the wall. Jack came in and took out the old piping that was left and put in new piping that was of better quality of what was there before."

I was impressed from the start of the process when Ryan noted that the drain would need to be shifted slightly to align with the new tub, a detail that had gone unnoticed by the other two plumbers that came to give me estimates. "We woke up in the house we have owned exactly 90 days to find water pouring out the front of the hot water heater. We were able to turn the water off. Had to wait until the next day for them to come. They called and came by earlier than expected. They rang the bell, and when I opened the door, they proceeded to march right past me without a word and go into my basement. I sent my fiancee down. They said we needed a new hot water heater (which we expected because of rust on the bottom of the unit). They left and came back 2 hours later with a new one and had it intalled within 30 minutes. They marched all over my brand new carpet downstairs with their muddy boots and only spoke a few words with myself or my fiancee (they were not of spanish descent). Less than good customer service"

"We called Mainstream plumbing at 6:30 am due to what we thought was a burst pipe. We had no water and had to get to work. Steve returned our call immediately, and was at our house by 8:15 am and fixed the issue on the spot. We are very grateful for his reponsiveness and will hire him again if/when needed."

"Work took about 45 minutes, I provided the valve for water heater and mixer for faucet control. Work appears to be high quality. He'd quoted me $200 for the work in response to my inquiry (copied below) on the Angies List messaging system, and then charged me $300 and didn't reduce price for Angies List 15% off coupon.  Given the work took 45 minutes and he used mostly my materials, I thought the price was excessive and it's hard to imagine the work was harder than he expected when he gave me the price.  I moved and disconnected my washer to allow access to rear of dryer, he didn't offer to reconnect it.  <br /> <em>Here's email volley between us:<br /> <strong>(me</strong>) 7/31/2015  I need to have a few sale inspection items addressed. 1. replacement of shower mixer cartridge (I have replacement cartridge) to stop drip 2. replacement of water heater pressure release valve 3. replacement of gas supply line to dryer 4. rerout condensate drain from sanitary pipe to outside. Please let me know price and availability to fix. "I called Peterson based on existing Angie's List reviews, and I'm glad I did! We had a mysterious slow drain in the main floor bathroom sink that would come and go, but eventually came and stayed combined with a a leaking drain pipe in the basement. Three guys from Peterson arrived on time and began to investigate and trouble-shoot the problem, both on the main floor and basement. The issues were related and exacerbating each other.  The guys were there for about an hour and a half, maybe a little longer. It turns out that two of the guys were apprenticing so the main guy was spending a lot of time explaining each step. I felt lucky that my case was getting such extra attention; even better they discounted my bill at the end so I wasn't paying for the extra time they took since they were teaching on the job.  No sign of the slow drain since they left and the sewer line cap they replaced in the basement is well fitted and dry and looks much better.  Very happy with the service performed!  If I have any other issues I will use them again."
