"My 16 year old State water heater broke down. I reached out to Ken as he was recommended by a friend of mine in the same neighborhood. Ken was very transparent about the process unlike the other providers who I reached out to who just wasted my time. First time replacing a water heater so got to learn a lot about the technicalities. Generally, everyone recommends to cross-reference the old model number to a new one so that the dimensions and specs match so that the new one can be installed in the same spot without having to do any more work like moving the vent outlet hole higher or lower plus any more pipe related works. However, there was a 1/4 inch height offset for my new one's vent outlet on the wall, since the old model and the name model recommended did not exactly match 1 to 1. The suppliers who sell you the water heater dont tell you that, and you only find that out if you try to go deep into the specs. Ken picked up my new water heater and confirmed about the dimensions with the supplier who failed to mention this offset to him. When he reached my home with the new model, I told him about the offset which i was not sure about and he again called and confirmed with the supplier who now said ya, there is a 1/4th inch offset. So we were very worried that time if the new one would even fit. But thanks to Ken and his son Ken, who talked to few people and confirmed that they could work with the offset and he installed the new model at my place. It took maybe a couple of more hours for him to install this but he and his son did a fantastic job. It is really hard to find transparent people these days. I am glad I went ahead with Ken for the job. I am highly satisfied and will definitely work with him in future. Highly recommend"

He came on time, gave an estimate during the first visit, showed up on time for the next appointment to replace the water meter, pulled the permit in a timely manner for inspection. He is very professional and offers reasonable/competitive pricing. He also wore a mask all the time and offered free advice on the maintenance of my water heater. "In January, Jeff came to service my boiler, which had been shutting off randomly and required several resets. He broke the bad news that the boiler would need to be replaced relatively soon, but understood my need to plan for it and was helpful in providing information without "mansplaining." He talked through options and answered questions. When I was ready, I didn't hesitate to go with Jeff and crew for the replacement job. The quote was fair and I trusted him and his team to do right by me for such a big investment in my home. The system that was installed is practically a work of art! They even tucked the new water heater around the corner from the original spot, creating more space in the main walkway area of the basement. They were communicative, prompt and cleaned up after themselves. It's been 3 months and the new system seems to be working beautifully. "I went to turn on our heating system and it wouldn't turn on. I also noticed there was water dripping from a heater pipe. I called Platinum and Robert responded to my call within the half hour. We scheduled a time for him to come the next day and he was able to fix the heater quickly. As our system is pretty old, he also took the time to discuss options for potentially replacing it and also showing me different parts on the system that might need to be replaced if we didn't want a new system. He also looked at another plumbing project I was thinking about while he was there. About 15 minutes after he left, I realized I had forgotten to mentioned the dripping pipe.
