"Our house had a water damage that ruined much of the drywall and floor on the first floor and the basement. For such a big repair job, I carefully looked up the reviews and recommendations from Angie's list and talked to 3 contractors that have the highest ratings. AOM was one of the three. David, the owner of AOM, quickly came to our house, assessed the damage, explained to me what need to be done, showed great empathy to our loss and current situation (having to stay in hotel waiting to go back to our house), and put a very competitive bid (about 2/3 the bid of another contractor). We picked them and signed the contract. AOM uses Trello, a cloud-based project tracking system that software companies often use, to effectively and promptly communicate task description and updates to all workers and house owners. AOM workers are professional, hard working, and friendly. For such a big project, expectedly there were some hiccups and AOM had to juggle ours with their other on-going projects. David kindly explained to me various aspects of the repair work and promptly fixed any faults that we identified. I became to completely trust David's professional skill and that he would treat our house like his. Several nights and weekends David came to work late so that we could move back to normal life as soon as possible. In the end, we are very happy with our remodeled house. "Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.  
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"Following recent remodeling of my bathroom, a contractor friend suggested that I have my crawlspace cemented, so as to reduce mold, bugs, etc.  I reviewed possible contractors on Angie's List that provided this type of service and contacted CrawlspaceSolution.com.   Brian Flanagan visited my residence to survey my crawlspace and provide an estimate.  All work was clearly listed on the estimate form, along with approximate costs for each service.  Brian arrived promptly, as promised, at the time of estimate.
Work commenced approximately one week from time of estimate.  When the time came for the work to occur, Brian's crew arrived, as scheduled and completed the work within the timeframe committed to.  The crew was courteous and took measures to protect my residence while they performed the work.   The entrance to the crawlspace is located in the floor of my master bedroom closet.  This meant the workers had to enter through the front door of my residence and had to run hoses, equipment, extension cords, etc., all through my house.  Needless to say, there was much room for the work performed to become very messy.  
Protective plastic sheeting was placed on the floor and up the walls through my living room, hallway and master bedroom.  All debris was bagged and removed from the crawlspace.  New vapor barrier and lava rock was laid to create a base for the new concrete that was poured.  All of the cracks in my foundation were filled and new foam insulation was placed on all the walls.  New electric service was run and a new sump pump was installed.    The sump pump ejector pipe was placed exactly where I requested it.    When Brian's crew was finished with the work, they cleaned up all of their supplies, equipment and protective sheeting they placed.  They left no mess for me to clean up.
Following the work, my crawlspace is now dry, clean and warm!  I immediately notice the difference in my home (humidity is reduced, as well as the floor being warmer and less drafty) I am told that I could use the space for storage if I needed to.  I was very pleased with the work that Brian's team provided and would definitely recommend them and their service to other customers.
