"It's been a few weeks since Z&O Construction completed my small bathroom remodel and I am extremely pleased with the outcome - it's beautiful! All the plumbing fixtures and finishes are holding up and functioning well due to proper installation and excellent workmanship. Although I am an architect, this was my first time working with a general contractor for my home and the process was seamless. I did the design, selections, and majority of procurement, then Z&O was able to work within a rapid timeline to start the project once I received all owner-provided items and completed in 7 business days, putting in some extra hours to see the project through. The team has extensive experience from demo to rough-in to painting, plumbing, electrical, tiling, and cabinetry. They were responsive and direct with communication preceeding, during, and after the project. Whenever an issue came up or intent was unclear, they asked for clarification and fixed any issues. For example, they installed the vanity multiple times because of drawer hitting door frame and existing drain pipes not being centered so it was installed correctly, not haphazardly. They always did their best to keep the other areas of my small apartment clean and I fully trusted them in my home even when I could not be present. Their fee aligned with market rate for a small bathroom remodel, and I definitely got the value for the price. I had piece of mind hiring a knowledgeable GC because it removed liability for me living in a multi-unit condo building and meant the project would get done faster as it is the only bathroom I have. My only feedback is that I had provided drawings, specifications, and installation guides, as well as additional information, but it was unclear that this had been fully reviewed or distributed to the whole team. Z&O can also be better in formatting and thoroughness of their estimates as what I received was only a rough word doc. Simple administrative systems could help reflect the otherwise very professional reputation. As I plan a kitchen remodel next, I look forward to the opportunity to work with Z&O Construction again!"

"JWHI, specifically Alberto and Javier, just completed a remodel of our downstairs kitchen, living/dining room, and powder room, along with an upstairs bath. Alberto and Javier are truly master craftsmen. From removing load-bearing walls to installing cabinets to gorgeous tile work to painting and much more, they seemingly are able to do any task with perfection. "-Excellent pricing -Great communication -Extremely talented contractors We contacted Home Breakthrough for a complete, down to the studs, remodel of our master bathroom. We couldn't possibly be happier with the work that they did, and their pricing was significantly better than the other quotes we received. Planning Phase: Within a day of contacting the company, Francisco came to our house to give us a quote. A day or two after that, once we elected to go with Home Breakthrough, he drew up the contract and set a date for us to pick out tile. Throughout the planning phase, Francisco and his coordinator Honika, were with us every step of the way. What was particularly helpful was that when we would pick a fixture that may not work for the space (our master bathroom is tiny), he would recognize it as an issue ahead of time, saving us time and money. He was also very keen on laying out different options for us in an effort to keep costs down. Construction: The team the company sent to do the work (Ismael and Ricardo) were amazing. Not only were they incredibly talented contractors, they were very respectful of our home. They cleaned up at the end of every day and were very cautious not to damage any walls or flooring during construction. Most importantly, they did BEAUTIFUL work. We have an old house, so there were numerous issues they had to work through, such as uneven floors, uneven walls, and shoddy plumbing and electrical. They were able to solve all these issues without problem, and the end result was absolutely stunning. Ismael and Francisco were really good about showing us exactly what was wrong, why it was a problem, and explaining how they would fix it. I'm no contractor, but I have done a good deal of framing, plumbing, electrical, etc in the past (most of my friends are in the trades). I can guarantee you that if this company tells you something is an issue that needs to be addressed, they are not trying to up-sell you. They know what they are talking about and they are really good about finding solutions to problems in the most cost effective way to you. You will not find a more honest company than Home Breakthrough. Once all the issues were solved, construction of our new bathroom went very quickly. We went with an ornate herringbone pattern for the tiles on one of the walls in our shower, which Ismael installed perfectly, despite needing to custom cut the majority of the tiles for that wall. The speed with which they finished up the project is a testament to the diligent prep work Ismael and Ricardo did ahead of time. They didn't even need to shim the cabinets or vanity! Even in new constructions you usually need to shim, but the walls and floor they installed were perfectly level and plumb. Final Thoughts: If you are looking to do a remodel, this is the company you want. The entire team was a pleasure to work with, we saved several thousand dollars going with them over another company, and our finished bathroom is literally perfect."
