"This could hardly have gone better.  Our washer decided to wet itself all over the place yesterday.  Called this AM, spoke to a friendly phone rep at E-appliance, and they sent out a repairman this afternoon.  Robert arrived within the specified window and quickly found the problem (fill sensor hose had detached on the inside).  Simple fix.  No BS, no trying to sell us repairs we didn't need.  He made some recommendations for how to prevent problems in the future, and even banged out a dent that had been in the front panel of the washer for years.  Should we ever need appliance repair again, it will be an easy call.  Thanks guys!

"Went really well!

1. Air Conditioning repair:  one of my A/Cs stopped working.  It turned out to be a pretty big breakdown in the unit, but the guys were on it.  They were able to figure out how to access the unit (it's in the ceiling, so it's pretty tricky).  They had all the parts in the truck that they needed.  They also took the time to show me what was wrong and explain what they were doing.  They even showed me additional filters to be changed (they were hidden in the ceiling).  As a bonus, they had some filters that they gave me - installed them in both of my A/C units (the broken and non broken one).  (Approx cost: $750 - including all parts and labor.)  Once the A/C was fixed, they turned it on, and used a machine to take the exact temperature of the air coming out of the vent.

2. Nest installation: I had purchased the Nest a while ago.  I thought about installing them myself, but erred on the side of caution and went with a professional.  I'm glad I did.  They had both Nest units up and running in no time flat! Plus, they knew of another switch to press to turn off the power to the A/C, rather than having to turn off all the power in my unit via the circuit breaker.  (Cost: $200 total for both unit installs)

I also really appreciated that they took the time to cleanup.  They asked me for my vacuum cleaner, and vacuumed when they finished.  They moved paintings off the wall without my having to ask (paintings that were not directly blocking what they were doing, but could have been accidentally hit in the process).  They even moved my heavy bed in order to access the thermostat...and remembered to move it back!

Bonus: I forgot to mention, one of the guys heard some noise coming from the vent, controlled by the working A/C.  He said "that's not right" and adjusted the grille so that the noise stopped!!!"

"Robert was a wonderful technician. He was concerned about the expense in replacing the burned out parts needed to repair the washer, and attempted to find options. However, the parts were needed, and so he reduced the labor costs, which he didn't have to do. We were very impressed with him, and worked long and hard to repair the washer, which we had originally thought we may have to completely replace. Our 15- year old 'top of the line' washer looks like it might last another 15 years. We will definitely use this company for all of our appliances. After we used Home Advisor for this situation, and hired Airflow, we cancelled our Sears Home Warranty , which had kept us waiting 2 weeks to repair our washer, including a no-show who finally showed up 3 hours late.
