"The toilet in my rental unit was notoriously bad at flushing. We snaked the drain three times in the last week, and still the flush is very weak and doesn't clear the bowl. Earl noticed the gerryrigged line running from the sink supply, and suggested checking the valve to see if that made the tank fill faster. It did. Earl was very quick, nice, and professional. Now the toilet is brand new and flushes in a flash, and I was able to remove the 4ft hose draped from the sink to the toilet.

"I am in the process of purchasing the condo that I have been renting for the past year and following the inspection, decided that there were some plumbing issues that I wanted to have addressed before closing - very low hot water pressure and significant drainage issues in tub. The current owner of my condo hired a plumber that the Association has used for years to come out and fix these issues. This plumber (NOT John at The Plumbing Doctor) was not only extremely expensive, but he was unable to correct any of the issues mentioned above and even left me with an additional problem that was not there before his visit (virtually no hot water pressure in sink). So, I went did some research on my own and after reading many positive reviews on The Plumbing Doctor, I decided to set up an appointment. John was able to fix the drainage issue in the tub in a matter of 10 minutes. He also was able to quickly assess the situation with the hot water pressure in sink and 30 minutes or so later, that was fixed as well. As for the water pressure in the shower, Plumber #1 had said that there was no way to fix this without having new pipes installed throughout the building. John said that the while pipes will have to be replaced in my unit, the rest of the building won't be effected. I just feel like the first plumber was saying things couldn't be done when the truth is he didn't know how to do the work. Long story short, I highly recommend John at The Plumbing Doctor. He clearly knows what is is doing and to top things off, his prices are reasonable!...unlike Plumber #1 who charged double what John charged and left me with more problems than I had to begin with =P"

"I called around 7:15 a.m. expecting to get an answering machine.  I was very surprised and pleased that the business owner answered even though it was outside of normal hours.  I explained our request for a sewer line inspection with a camera, and gave her the seller's realtor's phone number so they could coordinate the appointment.  This was done immediately and relayed back to me.  The tech called me from the appointment and explained that access to the sewer was in the crawl space, not in the yard.  Because of this difficulty, the original charge quoted to me was incorrect.  I gave my permission to proceed.  After the inspection,  the tech called again with the results of the inspection, made a recommendation for the future (indicating this was not urgent), and told me I would receive an email with the receipt and his inspection report by the end of the day via email, which I did.  I was extremely impressed with AAA Walsh & Sons availability, responsiveness and communication, and I felt their pricing was extremely fair.  I will definitely make them my first call for any future plumbing service."

"Gary came the next day with an assistant and completed all the work in one day. The sewer work completed required some major excavation and pipe replacement. Gary and aide worked from the time they came (promptly on time) until they left (about 9-10 hours later) Gary promised to do the job in one day and he delivered. He was careful to explain all stages of the work along the way, and notified us when he was leaving the premise to get materials. When the laundry tub work could not be repaired he deducted the cost from original estimate. The replacement cement work was finished neatly, they cleaned up before they left, and Gary explained the work needed to be done re: laundry tub repair as well as costs. (we're saving that for another day). Mike called later that same evening to get our opinion about the work done. From start (my original call to get estimate) to finish (Mike's check in call) was 4 days. This was an extremely positive experience ; Gary's (and assistant's) work ethic was amazing; they worked quietly and efficiently, explained the work as it was being done. There was no inconvenience and minimal interruption of water use. We were particularly impressed by (1) Gary's honesty about not being able to get the laundry tub issues resolved and his reducing original estimate to reflect the change in estimate and (2) Mike's call at the end of the day. we will definitely be calling back to get further work completed and feel very comfortable making this recommendation."
