"The toilet in my rental unit was notoriously bad at flushing. We snaked the drain three times in the last week, and still the flush is very weak and doesn't clear the bowl. I opted for a new toilet as the existing one was 10 years old and has never been very good. Earl noticed the gerryrigged line running from the sink supply, and suggested checking the valve to see if that made the tank fill faster. It did. Earl was very quick, nice, and professional. Now the toilet is brand new and flushes in a flash, and I was able to remove the 4ft hose draped from the sink to the toilet.

"I am in the process of purchasing the condo that I have been renting for the past year and following the inspection, decided that there were some plumbing issues that I wanted to have addressed before closing - very low hot water pressure and significant drainage issues in tub. The current owner of my condo hired a plumber that the Association has used for years to come out and fix these issues. This plumber (NOT John at The Plumbing Doctor) was not only extremely expensive, but he was unable to correct any of the issues mentioned above and even left me with an additional problem that was not there before his visit (virtually no hot water pressure in sink). So, I went did some research on my own and after reading many positive reviews on The Plumbing Doctor, I decided to set up an appointment. John was able to fix the drainage issue in the tub in a matter of 10 minutes. He also was able to quickly assess the situation with the hot water pressure in sink and 30 minutes or so later, that was fixed as well. As for the water pressure in the shower, Plumber #1 had said that there was no way to fix this without having new pipes installed throughout the building. John said that the while pipes will have to be replaced in my unit, the rest of the building won't be effected. I just feel like the first plumber was saying things couldn't be done when the truth is he didn't know how to do the work. Long story short, I highly recommend John at The Plumbing Doctor. He clearly knows what is is doing and to top things off, his prices are reasonable!...unlike Plumber #1 who charged double what John charged and left me with more problems than I had to begin with =P"

"The guys had to work to coax the top off the sewer line. After getting the top off, they rodded the line and it seemed to go well. They said no problems. Will use again next year for the maintenance."

"Called Saturday morning after my sump pump malfunctioned, fortunately it was not raining. Matt answered, asked about the problem and then said he could out in a couple hours. Less than 2 hours Matt arrived, assessed the situation and replaced my old pump with a new pump. In less than a half hour later the new pump was installed and working as expected. Everything went smoothly and efficiently. Very pleased with the responsiveness. Will look to M & E Plumbing for all future plumbing needs."

"Punctual. Given the glowing rewiews I was actually looking forward to getting these things fixed for our association. Guy who did the actual work was NOT Mike, but Gary I think his name was. Snaking the line to the street was uneventful, 20 minutes $202.00 o.k. Gary? recommended we have the catch basin grease etc sucked out and recommended a provider (brother in law) for this. great. Next he replaced the out door hydrant faucet a $20-$30 part. We had hoped to not have to open the wall up to do the fix as there was an access panel there w/a shut-off valve is located. After a 1/2 hearted attempt and Garys time clock ticking, he decided there was no other way to get the fix done. I'm not a plumber, so I ok the tearing up of the wall. fine. He spent maybe an hour on the hydrant faucet valve fix a $20-30 part and charged us $400.00 Seemed excessive to me, but again NOT a plumber. So I call the referral to get the gunk sucked out of the catch basin. This guy, NOT the brother in law, says he can suck the gunk out BUT intoned we really should have this industrial procedure done to properly clean the sewer line to the street. Makes sense to me & I feel I blew $200 on the snake job of the previous week. So not really happy w/the provider. They did what we requested but if your looking for an honest," looking out for you" fair operation, I would skip this outfit."
