Comment: I bought this house a year ago. I have been living in it about four months. I have experience with small industrial R.O./ D.I. systems. I have two of them which I built up prior to buying this house. I installed them onto modified hand trucks, and have used them for vehicle rinsing and a special type of industrial painting. I state this because I have somewhat of an understanding of water purification, but I have never intended to use either of these set ups to purify water for drinking. My house here in Dayton has a system already in place but needs to be swapped out or re-charged. The original owner built a system for softening the water. There are two large (12" dia. X 5' tall) fiberglass filter tanks with electronic control units on top of each tank and valving that rejects waste water into a holding tank(?).
