"Western Rooter to the rescue again! I had a small underground leak which appeared to be due to a bad sprinkler valve. A sprinkler repair company determined that it was not a bad sprinkler valve and thought it was due to a leak in the main water line. Daniel and Alex dug down to find that the leak was coming from a very old (at least 36 years) broken pvc line. After much testing and head scratching to try to figure out where the water was coming from, they decided to "chase the pipe." After much digging, they found that the very old broken pvc pipe was hooked up to a sprinkler valve that was buried 18 inches underground that had not been capped--only turned off. Roots from a nearby tree had opened the valve which caused the leak--crazy! The current sprinkler system has been the same one since we moved into the house in 1988. It took 36 years for the underground leak to occur!"

Juan, the installer was on time, courteous, self-effacing, humorous, knowledgable and highly skilled. He replaced the ugly functioning plumbing (piping) with a more contoured professional appearance. "AP responded very promptly to my call--on a Friday in the late morning i found out about the problem--system backed up--while I was out of town. Regina responded promptly and had someone there that afternoon. Matt did a very fine job and followed up with a call answering some questions I had. The main office (including Regina)  also was helpful with the follow up. My one question has to do with whether it was a bit overpriced. I checked with another reputable plumber (also on Angeie's List) and that person said he would have done it for about $100 less. This being said, the work and the communication were both excellent.
