The original installation was in the end of Dec. 2012. The installer was good. He brought his son, who started going through my things, as I had just moved in. When I told him to not go through my things, he went out the garage. Later that day I found food missing out of my garage freezer. I called the salesman about this and he made right with it and reimbursed me.

 I had to have the controller changed as it stopped softening my water and it was leaking. It was very difficult to get in touch with anyone at customer service and then when I did, it took them a long time to get out and repair it. I was told to turn my water off until they could get out here. Really? Be without any water for a couple days?

 Now, I find the system they installed under my kitchen sink has been leaking. It looks like it's been leaking for a while. It appears my cabinet bottom is slightly warped from this. I live in a new home. It was build a year ago and I moved in. I will have to have it checked for mold now as well. But I tried calling AmeriTek today, and again, I'm told the Tech would call me. It's the end of the day and no call. I called them back for the 4th time and they said the Tech would call me sometime tomorrow. No time given. Several customer service people I spoke with said they would call me back in a few minutes. I gave them over 30 minutes to call me back. They never did. When I called,  I was asked if people called me back, I said no. They actually asked me if I wanted the yearly service (which I was never told about). That they would check the whole system and change filters. I asked what the charge would be. They told me $150.00. With the customer service I have experienced with this company, I don't think I will give them more of my business. I will call Puronics themselves and get an estimate for that.   I think it's time for me to call a plumber and send AmeriTek the bill.

I'm not saying anything bad about Puronics. This is just one Company that installs it.

"Frustrating. I called for the toilet tuneup at the end of September. Did not show up because of truck accident. The plumber did show up for his appointment and did a good job on my toilet. I decided to get a quotation on my shower leak in rear house. The plumber quoted $180.00. I needed to pay extra money for a shower valve. At the side of the house, there was a water leak in which he stopped. The plumber got sick and I had to deal with a subsitute plumber. He finally finished the job 10/26/17. Gave me a deduction for my frustration."

He already had the water heater I needed; which is a testament to the communication/organization between dispatch (Jordan) and the tech (Daniel) at Active Plumbing Solutions. The install went flawlessly and here I am at 7:17pm (same night) writing this review! Pricing was better than I had last year when I needed a repair and got 2 replacement quotes just in case. I could not imagine a better experience. Both representatives from Active Plumbing solutions gave GRADE AAA+++ Service. I will use their service again and recommend them to any and everyone who needs plumbing service."
