I made the appointment to have my softener looked at, and Kevin showed up a few minutes early. We reviewed my options, and we determined that my system, which was not new when I inherited it a few years ago, was too old to fix for a price that made sense. Replacing the entire system cost only $250 more than repairing, so I went for it. I was at work, but my roommate was home when Kevin returned to make the repair. He said the water would be out for a couple of hours, but it was less time than that. The water has been even softer than it was before ever since. Very happy with my purchase! The grade of B for price merely means that I had not intended to pay that much; it is not meant as a criticism of AOK's prices. The grade of B for Quality reflects minor complaints, like leaving the soil turned over and piled up around the softener, leaving an empty sports drink bottle, leaving the cord from the old system balled up on the ground, etc. They were really minor annoyances; I would use AOK again in a heartbeat."

"Even though they pre -checked and previewed my whole house water treatment system, they came unprepared without the components needed for my job. This resulted in my home being without water for about 4 hours. The installation was just short of an hour after they returned. The price was a bit high in my opinion, but otherwise they were very nice , clean and respectful of our wishes. They were also very timely in their response and scheduling. During this time of pandemic, they wore booties, and masks and tried to keep social distancing."

"Problem: Leak in water pipe in circa 1958 home. I was able to schedule my repiping within a week of consulting with the plumbing projects manager Stephen McCann. A work crew of 3 showed up at my house promptly at 8:30 a.m. and worked straight through until nearly 6:00 pm. All the gentlemen were polite and completely professional. They divided up and went about their business in different sections of the house and got the job done! I went from having no water in the house for 3 weeks, to now having water! They will be back in 2 weeks to do a tub to shower conversion for me. (I had to special order the shower and it won't be in until the 19th, or that would have been done at the same time)."
