"Electrician called 30 minutes prior to estimated arrival and arrived on time.  He had apprentice that arrived a little later.  They went through the house and garage and checked the electrical system.  He pointed out things that were not up to code and provided a quote.  The cost for gfci outlets seemed a little steep, but we needed the work done for sale of home so went ahead.  They worked quickly and finished sooner than predicted.

"I had an old water heater (was in the house when I moved in about 20 years ago) and it started to leak. After shutting off the water to the water heater, I did a little Angie's List research to find a company to do the replacement. I called a couple and decided to use Randy Lane, based on cost and my interaction with them, which I felt was cordial and helpful, and made an appointment.
The service person arrived on time on the day of the appointment and went to work. He disconnected the old heater and hauled it out. The new heater was brought in and he did the needed plumbing work to connect the water and also made the natural gas connections. He fired up the unit and briefed me on the new unit - how to turn-off the water and gas, if needed, temperature, etc.
The area was left in the same condition as when he arrived.
