The owner Alex was extremely rude and unprofessional. I hired him to 1) attach an elbow from a downspout into my gutter 2) install gutter screens on top of a 10 foot long gutter. The morning of the job my Dad (the homeowner) had a few questions regarding the gutter screens. I called Alex to ask the questions and he was very irritated and unprofessional about answering them and said "look if you dont want them you don't have to get them..". He then rushed me off and said we could talk when he arrived. When he arrived he was still highly unprofessional as we spoke. He was rushing me to agree to just let him install the screens saying "look tell your dad I have three grown men on the roof that need to get paid." The men were installing the elbow so they were working and were going to get paid either way. Alex was very condescending and impolite. I reminded him that he had done work for my family members and he did not care, he was still trying to corner me into installing the screens with no regard for the questions we needed answers to. Even if the gutter screens were not installed he would still be getting paid to install the elbow, so his work and time was still getting compensated. We decided not to install the screens and he still tried to convince me to. He left and then I messaged him telling him how unprofessional he was and he showed no concern at whatsoever and sent me a link to these reviews on Home Advisor and dared me to write him a bad review since "I am such a bad person" (he literally said this. He has 40 good reviews so I suppose he is arrogant and doesn't care if he gets one bad one. He said "you couldve asked me your questions last night before I came this morning." A customer should not be rudely spoken to and treated like garbage because they have additional information before a job is done whether it's on the night before or the morning of. Alex was entirely unprofessional and showed not a shred of care for his rudeness. His reciepts are crumpled sheets of paper that he pulls out of his front hoodie pocket and he text messages all the details of his work. I would not recommend him, I don't care how many good reviews he is cocky about. Buyer beware.
