He and and his crew did a great job painting several items for me (wrought iron fence and patio furniture, front iron double door, and several doors that had been installed but never painted). "We hired JMR Home Services for a basement finishing project starting around September 2025. Unfortunately, this was a very stressful experience. Communication and project management were inconsistent throughout the job, requiring significant homeowner oversight and repeated follow-up just to keep work moving. Several workmanship and finish-quality issues arose during the project, and multiple items required attention near the end. We completed a walkthrough, paid the full balance, and the county issued the Certificate of Occupancy. Despite this, remaining finish items were not completed and follow-up stopped. Closeout communication became unnecessarily confrontational despite our good-faith efforts to resolve outstanding items and bring the project to a proper close. Based on our experience, we would not recommend."
