"after seeing their website, I contacted them for a quote regarding a built-in bookcase I wanted for my living room. They responded quickly and a meeting was soon arranged. Upon meeting Tea and George, it  was immediately clear they were knowledgeable about their craft and easy to work with. "I received A+ service from Granite Works. I met Bruno Valente, one of the co-owners, on my first visit. He was very friendly and helpful, not pushy like some sales people. The slab I liked the best was marked sold.  In a follow up discussion with Bruno, my brother found out that the sister to that slab was available. Bruno gave it a rating of 11 on a scale of 1 to 10, and he was right.  Bruno held the slab for a few days until I could get there. Purchased it that day, and he held it for 5 months at no charge. Many companies my brother called on my behalf would not hold a slab longer than 30 days.
When my brother was visiting from out of town, they were kind enough to bring it out of storage so that he could see it.  That day, we met Art Rivera who spent considerable time with me us and provided invaluable advice about a new counter I was adding.  He also provided other design suggestions on the backsplash and paint color, which I followed with great results. That was an extra bonus I didn't expect. So, if Art gives you advice, you should definitely take it.
The templater, Glauber (hope this is the correct spelling), was extremely detail oriented and communicated well with my carpenter and his assistant. He made a suggestion for the end cap of the new counter and the handrail behind it that made it a true work of
art.  Gus Valente (co-owner), with assistance from Eduardo (stone cutter), did a great job of deciding what parts of the stone would go where in my kitchen and fireplace.  They have an amazing eye. I was so impressed by their finding parts of the slab in totally different areas that would best connect at the seams. The installers were terrific and that process went very smoothly. I have 2 seams that are barely noticeable.  Their work in the kitchen and my fireplace surround was impeccable.
Granite Works exceeded my expectations, and I'm very picky.  My counters are a work of art.

Mr.Bret is the best contractor I have ever hired, as soon as we have explained our needs, they have compiled all our needs and came up with good ideas and design. From the day one I felt very confident in everything he explained about the plan and design of the project. both me and my wife liked the quality and the professionalism from all workers, he has got tons of knowledge and very good experienced employees, very professional and never rushed a job, which turns into a beautiful basement. our kids love the basement , they have got plenty of room to run around and I have got a calm and peaceful home office and a media room.  so our dream came true after getting the basement completed for a reasonable price comparing the market price.

The Electrical works are up to the county code standards, Bret is highly skilled in plumping jobs too, the work includes replacing the shower pan , shower sprout , newer toilet  , a full bathroom in the basement , removed the old tiles and installed new Tiles in the master bathroom. He also has installed beautiful brand new Berber Carpets in the basement. we are very pleased with his expertise  in bathrooms and basements remodeling. I definitely recommend Mr. Bret to my family and friends for their future projects.

"Very well. Robert explained the work they would do and he coordinated tile, plumbing and countertop replacement. We had an early 80's kitchen that needed help but we didn't want a major renovation. They updated our cabinets with new, larger doors, painted the frames, added soft-close hinges, and constructed a new cabinet to replace a built-in desk. New backsplash, granite countertops, and hardware. Their work was a superb value and we're pleased with our new "bright" kitchen!"

"We received Nafi's name from a neighbor who had used him to redo her kitchen. We were extraordinarily pleased with the work that Nafi and his team did for us. Everyone was respectful of our home, protecting walls, floors and rooms with room coverings and floor protectants. We had an idea in mind for our design, which Nafi implemented perfectly. He also added some ideas of his own, which enhanced our original design. The quality of workmanship and materials that he used were exceptional. We had one issue with doors that were installed. The issue had nothing to do with his installation, but was caused by the door frames which were original and not level. Nafi came to fix the issue free of charge and without question. I would highly recommend Nafi to anyone looking for home renovation. He stands by his work and has high quality at a fair price. We shared his name with a friend who was also pleased."
