"It went great, this is a unique service, for DIY-ers. My electric dryer wouldn’t heat, so I went on line and diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. I also watched several how to videos, but none of them matched my dryer. Finally went on Angie’s list and it matched me up with Tin Lizzee which is a chat service to help you through your repair. The technician I talked with was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I did get stuck during the repair and they called me on my cell and talked me through what I needed to do. I know I saved a lot of money by not having an appliance repair person come to my house with the mark up on parts and labor rates per hour I believe I saved at least half of the cost, if not more from ordering on line and chatting and talking to the Tin Lizzee technician, it was $30 well spent."

"Air conditioner went down and so called late afternoon and he was able to get there by 6pm the same day.  Gave estimated time and called back to update when on his way.  Very prompt. 
Our capacitor had blown up and he had the part on his truck and fixed it within 30 minutes!  Thought very knowledgeable and reasonable rate considering part was largest cost (over half) and it was an emergency call that he arrived within 2 hours.   He also only charged for the .5 hour and did not round up to full hour cost. 
I have two other friends that used someone else and they are still not fixed 2 days later.

"Upon our invitation after getting Innovative Garages as a potential contractor from Angie's List, Fritz Klooz, owner, came to our house and inspected our garage and listened to our needs. He then sent us a proposal (including the estimated cost) via e-mail, which we subsequently accepted. Fritz scheduled our work, and we sent a 25% down payment. The first day's work included installing the StoreWall panels, prepping the floor, and applying the first coat of epoxy. An additional coat was applied each of the next two days. Fritz and his team did excellent work. We were really pleased with the quality and felt the work met or exceeded our expectations. The cost came out exactly according to the estimate, and we felt we got a lot of value for what we paid."

"Bob was very attentive to our needs and priorities. He pushed us up in his schedule to do the pass-thru to the master bedroom early so that carpet that was scheduled to be installed did not have to be delayed. Bob never skimped on fixing things right when he uncovered some new "suprise". The house was built in 1972 and has a few quirks. Bob never complained or asked for extra's, but was always willing to do any additional things we found along the way that we wanted done. He was very reasonable on any additional work we requested. Bob was a delight to have around the house and we hated to see him go when he was all finished. Very calm, cool and trustworthy. We feel we have made a new freind and will use him again in the future and would highly recomend him for any bath, kitchen or room remodel or any handyman project you may have. "Steve, Nick and Joe arrived on time and per schedule. They moved the beds for me (the only furniture I couldn't move myself) and got straight to work. They were extremely polite and pleasant to work with. They had great attention to detail and were very organized and efficient. The floors look absolutely wonderful. I was so impressed with the job they did that I asked them to go ahead and put down vinyl plank in the connecting hallway. The whole job was very well done - couldn't have asked for better service. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
