"Just had the initial diagnostic visit. I was given terrible news (I'll probably end up getting a new furnace $$$), but the technician Ricky was wonderful. He was extremely polite, professional, and friendly. He did a very thorough inspection and then gave me a very thorough explanation of the problems. This included photos he took on the spot of some internal parts (oil leakage, heavy dust & dirt, stress markings).... at no point did I feel like I couldn't trust what he was telling or showing me. He answered every question I had. He went into the "attic" of my Eichler to check the ductwork (via a 14" hole in the closet ceiling, into space so shallow and tight I have no idea how the ductwork was ever even installed), and came out with photos to show me. The company was easy to work with when I had to change appointments, sent me email and text confirmations of everything, and gave me a day-before reminder of the appointment. I had an 8a- 11a window and received a text at 7:50a letting me know the technician was on his way, with a photo of him included. Perfect, perfect, perfect. The visit was $89 but reduced to $39 because I signed up for the MVP membership: $107 for a year which gets me all kinds of free services plus discounts on everything else. It even includes services on my water heater which they did not install! Additionally, they have some really good guarantees, MVP or not. Before leaving he called the office, explained all he'd found, and handed me the phone to set up an appointment with a "comfort specialist". Ariel (on the phone) was also extremely polite, professional, and friendly. These people are trained right! Or they're hiring very well. So, I will be meeting with someone to discuss repairs vs. replacement options. No repair work has been done yet (although Ricky did do a temporary fix that is allowing me to get some heat), so I can't fully review the company. But thus far I'm 100% pleased. This is probably the best experience I've ever had with any kind of repair technician. I've never used them before and have also never written a review before. The experience was just that good. I'll write another when I've finished with them just to give a full review, but so far perfect!"

"It went very well; the thorough HVAC system checkup revealed some questionable component that were best suggested to be replace with new ones. I am not confident that my HVAC system is set for more that good performance going forward. I appreciated the non-pressured advice and suggestions in coming to my decisions. "Called this company for their $77 dollar, which they advertised with a flyer, for a tune-up and cleaning for my heating system. They are a Hayward company and I was told that our Castro Valley home was not in their service area. I bet if I called to buy a new heater they would be out in a day."

"Jeff has come to the rescue twice to my new build home. He came the first time in the middle of summer when the a/c would start up. It was just the fan running. He was able to repair the unit same day. Recently, the same thing happened but with our heater. The burners were not lighting up. Apparently the builders never put the cover on and they got clogged with dust and debris. He was able to get our heater working and cannot be more thankful. He was able to fix a couple of things in the attic that the builder just slapped on. I’m sure this system will not stand the test of time, especially here in Vacaville so I’ll trust New age when it’s time to replace this system"

I have worked with many contractors and have never come close to the satisfaction... even pleasure I had with Comfort. I cannot think of anything Comfort Home Heating and Air could have done better. "Simpson Sheet Metal HVAC was recommended by a friend who had just had a heat pump and mini-split system installed and raved about the company and the individuals to me. I had already gotten three quotes from other area companies (I was in need of replacing ancient and malfunctioning baseboards and had been using a Quadrafire wood stove to heat my house), but decided to get a quote from Simpson and it turned out to be the lowest, with the best warranty terms, and the most "hand-holding" in terms of permit, rebates and payment. I also love the fact that it's a union shop because that means a well-educated and well-treated employee. Lead installer Jose and assistant Chino did a fabulous job, and as others have said, they left everything perfectly clean and also answered my many questions with patience and good humor. John Roncone managed the job and designed the system, and has been an amazing communicator as well. Nothing but raves for Simpson! What a relief!"

The team who built it were very detailed and consulted with us on each step of the installation. We couldn’t be happy with the results! We plan to have them help us with another project."
