"After arranging a 11:00 - 13:00 window, Appleton Campbell called at 08:56 and advised that the tech would be here at 10:30. This was not a problem in this case, though the call was rather early and there was no acknowledgment that this time was outside the agreed window.
At the (re)appointed time the tech, Chris, arrived and after being show the various locations began his inspection. Following a couple of his observations he found me and discussed his findings, showing me where appropriate and answering all my questions. Based on the discussions including going over his report at the end, it appears his inspection was quite thorough.
At the end he engaged in a little sales activity for some relevant products and a service subscription, but not in any objectionable way.

"I didn't have work done, but I called to find out about getting an inspection for mold in my house based on a previous leak. I told the person that I wanted to see if they would be able to better a previous quote from another company. I was told I could pay $325 for a mold test or I could have them come out for a $95 service call for them to assess the area and that would come off the total of the estimate if I have the work done. They didn't seem very eager to help and were not overly friendly. Maybe I'm just looking for some better customer service."

"There were issues like a portion of pipe under the sink that needed fixed as well as re-doing some of the valving that was leaking water. The guys also didn't have part with them and had to go out and purchase what they needed to do the job correctly. They also had some issue with reverse osmosis system due to the complicated set up. However they figured it out and the job was done in about 4 hours. They were very professional and cleaned up. Even helped put things back under the kitchen sink that had to be removed so that they could install the RO system and do the other plumbing work."
