"Due to storm conditions, the service person showed up late- to our surprise.  We didn't expect anyone would be able to work that night due to the storm and hadn't heard from them, so we were pleased when someone did arrive. 
The gentleman was friendly and seemed knowledgeable.  Turned out, the system needed several parts replaced, at a substantial cost and considering the age of the a/c unit, it wasn't in our best interest to have the work done. 
They gave us reasonable quotes for a new central air system, which at first we would have done.  However, being seniors on SS, we considered the expense and decided not to go that route and just installed window units.  So far so good.  We were pleased that they applied the coupon to the service call.  I would recommend D Rohde to anyone needing help for plumbing and heating/ac.

"We decided to add central air to our house. I called sure-temp as they installed our furnace 4 years ago. Based on my furnace experience, I expected a quote from a polite, professional person and that is exactly what I got. Interestingly enough, I mentioned to the estimator that I felt that Sure Temp was very reasonable with their products and pricing. He said quite bluntly that they were not necessarily the cheapest but that they worked hard to support everything that they sell. To be safe, I had 2 other companies do an assessment. While a month and a half later I have yet to hear from one company, the second was $200.00 more for a similarly featured competitive model. Add the 36 month interest free financing and I am happy. To be honest, the estimators from all 3 companies were professional in their work.
Ok. Back to sure temp. The quote came to me within 2 days. After doing my due diligence, I contacted Sure Temp to confirm, got approved and within a week the install was completed. Talk about fast! The installers arrived early and were pleasant and professional. They cleaned up after themselves very well.
From the initial call through completion, everyone I came into contact with at this firm was never anything but polite, friendly and professional. I would recommend them highly.

"I purchased the toilet and they installed it. They did an awesome job, even letting me know I needed additional work underneath to hold new toilet adequately (a new stainless flange was installed to the existing floor). They were right and showed me. I appreciate that. If a job is going to be done, it should be done right the first time. When everything was done, I was proud of how it looked. Wow! "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
