In Addition, very professional, honest, and on time for the start of work! He more dedicated to his company then most owners. Yes, I would highly recommend DLA Sewer & Drain to homeowners and businesses. Thank you!"

"They came in the time allocated. I had two areas I needed looked at , main shut off waterline which some tightening of fittings that were done. The other was replace a part in the faucet if the tub that mixes cold an warm water. Only the cold worked. He tried to loosen and clean the warm part, it needed to be replaced. They went to the local hartware and purchased it. It now works fine now. One suggestion would be that every time an additional charge was mentioned, I had to ask specifically how much it would add to the total bill. I definitely will hire him again."

"Chris and his crew were amazing! They diagnosed the problem well, very quick and professional, great communicators, brought in their excavator, cut out a large section of sewer, pulled an enormous tree root out of the sewer, installed a new pipe and cleanout, and put back the dirt. They were careful and explained everything o our neighbor as well. Highly highly recommend!"

"we aI originally had them out due to a leak on my toilet on the 2nd floor. it was determined that the problem was the Wax ring. They determined that to prevent any future problems it would be best to double up the wax ring. This work was done and I had them take a look at my toilet in my basement. After a discussion I determined it would be best to replace the toilet. An appointment was made for the following week and on the day agreed upon they came out and completed the job. Each time they were out they were professional and ensured that I understood everything that was involved before doing the work. They were quick in getting the job done and after they ensured that they cleaned up. <br />"

"Jim and his partner were very professional and informed me of the work they would be performing. Old drain pipes were replaced along with clearing out the cast iron pipe still going to the main drain under the house. I am very pleased with the work and the professional attitude they shown. FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Aurora, IL

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
