Even when confronted with some unexpected issues (items that were not obvious until we begin the demo) midstream, they gave me complete Information so that I could make an informed decision on how to proceed. Their work is excellent, they are reliable and easy to communicate with, they are proud of what they do and want you to be happy with the results. My project included general construction, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical assessment. I highly recommend Powerhouse and will continue to use them for my general contracting needs. "Extensive prep work with peeling white paint on top of dark wood, needed to be sanded extensively.  Ceiling work, patchng, careful trim work on ceilings and panels, polyurethane built in china cabinets and banister. Excellent work on ceilings, walls and trim. They were responsive when a test area showed color we chose was not what we wnated and we were able to choose another color before a large room was painated.  Be sure to specify that both sides of door frames are to be painted. They were very responsive when we noted polyurethane drips on a painted wall and Dan came on a Saturday to fix it. Work done included ceilings, walls, baseboards, trim, doorways for a large living room, dining room, 2 breezeways, stairway to second floor with banister and spindles and second floor hallway. Took 3 weeks to complete. Pay attention to detail."

"Home Crafters completed a big project at my house in March 2012. We had a 10 foot section of a load bearing wall removed between the living room and dining room. The price quoted was very fair and competitive with the other bids I had received ($2800 for everything). They also agreed to center the opening along the wall, rather than starting at the one wall and opening up a 10 foot section that would be skewed toward one side (something that other contractors said was the only possible solution). Once the team had started, they realized that the return vents were not in the usual place, and they would need to expand the construction project to re-run the vent work. This was an additional cost to us, but Home Crafters agreed to complete that project at cost.  
I could not be happier with their work. The team was very professional and accommodating, the wall looks perfect, and I don?t have anything negative to say about Jim or his team. Even though we ran into delays, everything was completed very professionally and with great attention to detail. They even moved two outlets from the now open section of the wall to the remaining segments. I would highly recommend this group for any home construction projects. We plan to remodel our master bathroom in another year or two, and Home Crafters will definitely be our first call."

"We recently bought a new house, and needed a few smaller repairs done, along with a huge privacy fence installed for our dogs. Aaronson Repairs was very prompt with their response to our inquiry. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and communicated well so I always knew what to expect. The small repairs were completed almost immediately, and the fence was completed as soon as the material came in. The guys who came worked really hard, and the fence was complete ahead of schedule. Pricing was very reasonable for the amount of work. We got wood fencing along the sides of our yard, and aluminum fencing along the back. It looks better than I could have imagined. They were even thoughtful enough to ask whether our dogs were diggers, and helped to reinforce the bottoms of the fence. We will be calling for our next renovation project, and would highly recommend them to others."

"It started very well, we worked with Tara, she was very receptive to the changes that we made and was very accessible and flexible.We wanted initially to hire for full remodel, but their quote was too high ,so we decided to limit only to cabinets and install. We hired other companies and it was a smart decision . Then the installation came and unfortunately it was poor planning and what was very disappointing poor execution leaving us with significant gaps between the back of the cabinets toe kick and the cabinets.. nails trough the cabinets and misaligned doors When we alerted about it..we were told to hire someone else to fix that ..I must admit that the quartz company that did do very good job. But in regards with the cabinets installation no supervision and very poor craftsmanship. So we ended up with having to repair what should have been planned and executed well initially."
