Of all the garage door installers I called, Jeff was the only one who was truly willing to put in the effort to give us what we needed. We wanted a very specific garage door and we were hoping to get it before the house painters began painting, so that we could get the door painted the same color as the house. Jeff very quickly found the specific door we wanted, ordered it and installed it, and a new high end garage door opener, in time before the painters painted our house. Not only that, but it was a great quality insulated door and a great quality opener for a great price. "Although they came quickly and seemed nice, they said the spring was worn out and needed replacement, for $500.  We did not get the spring replaced with them, as we decided to look around for a better deal. We went with another company who, when they came out, said it didn't need a replacement at all.  They just adjusted the spring, for $225.  And it has worked great since then.

"At first, I called the wrong company by mistake - the wrong company serviceman opened the gate motor enclosure, told me that I might have to either fix the printed circuit board, or replace it, quoting $500 or $900 for a replacement board. After he left, I found the invoice for my installation (done 14 months ago) from the right company, Metal Garage Doors, and called them. They said they would honor their warranty, and they wondered how someone else would charge me $900 for a pc board that costs less than $500. David is honorable, the company does great work, and they stand by their work. I recommend them to everyone who needs garage door services - don't just search on the internet and hire anybody.
