"Great experience. Harmond W diagnosed the issue within the first 10 minutes of our interactive video session. He immediately followed up with the part number of the part which had likely failed and a link to Sears PartsDirect to order the part. After our session I removed the wall oven from the kitchen cabinet enclosure, found the suspected part, and confirmed it had indeed failed (as we had discussed during our session. I just ordered the part, and will plan to complete the oven repair when it arrives in a week or so. I'll definitely plan to use this Neli service again when needed."

"I have nothing but excellent things to say about Tom at Tc repair!! He was excellent, courteous, on time and pleasant! He saved me a ton of money by fixing my dryer and identified that my brand new Maytag washer had the motor seal malfunction and blow oil everywhere. My transmission pulley and drive belt stopped working because the grease destroyed them. He thought because the motor was under warranty Maytag would fix the other two issues as well as it was caused by the motor. No such luck. Not only did they refuse to fix or replace the other two parts I would have to pay for a professional service company to come out for 140 and then the labor plus parts. I called Tc repair back and he is going to fix the issues and have the company send me the motor. He is being extremely reasonable in cost and is likely doing the job for next to nothing at this point. He also helped consult with an issue that has been plaguing my refrigerator. He identified the cause of our issue within moments of seeing it! Tom also stopped by to help us with a refrigerator a few years back and also provided us with excellent service then! His prices a few years ago couldnâ t be beat and the same is still true! If you are looking to save money and have the work done correctly definitely give Tom a call at TC appliance! I am extremely satisfied with him and his service and will be calling him for all my future needs! His prices, expertise, and polite demeanor canâ t be beat! He takes the stress out of a stressful costly appliance repair! The BEST in the capital region and Iâ m an extremely hard to please person! He goes above and beyond every time!"

"Our experience with Kitchen and Bath World was excellent; we are completely satisfied. We had two full bathrooms completely re-done as well as new kitchen counter tops and laminate flooring installed. Emily LaRose, the designer, is the consummate professional designer. She has a firm grasp of design concepts and gave us functional and beautiful designs. She is a skillful communicator, equally strong at explaining choices and listening to and addressing our concerns or preferences. Emily kept the projects on track and made herself available for our questions. Our initial choice for laminate flooring for the kitchen was discontinued by the manufacturer. Emily immediately contacted us, and we met. She presented other recommended choices that would work with our counter top choice and existing cabinetry. We ended up with beautiful flooring and an on-schedule installation. Emily visited our home throughout the projects and always answered our phone calls and emails promptly. She was extremely helpful and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Further, all the other Kitchen and Bath World staff we met were very helpful, and we felt completely comfortable having them in our home. Greg, the lead installer, has an outstanding work ethic and outstanding construction / remodeling skills. Greg did meticulous work, and our home was always left in pristine condition at the end of the day. We will be recommending Kitchen and Bath World to our family and friends!"

"I bought a Choice Home Warranty for my aging mother as I don't live in the same town as she does and can't help her in the way I'd like to, especially with repairs to her appliances and systems. Having a full home warranty with Choice, it has given me the peace of mind knowing that I can get someone in to help her that isn't taking advantage of her age and situation and overcharging her. We've had to have 2 repairs this first year; her gas stovetop and her washing machine. The stovetop took several visits to get the problem fixed but that was for parts, but we only had to pay the service fee and it works just fine now. We were very pleased with the repair serviceperson and how he treated my mother. The washing machine had a problem, we called, someone showed up and checked out the machine and said it was a really, really old washing machine and said it would be more expensive to repair that replace. Choice paid $350 for the washing machine replacement value and that doesn't really buy a replacement as Maytag washing machines run about $600 for the bottom model, but it still was something to help towards the cost of replacing and overall, I'm very happy with the Choice Home Warranty product."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
