"Our house had a water damage that ruined much of the drywall and floor on the first floor and the basement. For such a big repair job, I carefully looked up the reviews and recommendations from Angie's list and talked to 3 contractors that have the highest ratings. AOM was one of the three. David, the owner of AOM, quickly came to our house, assessed the damage, explained to me what need to be done, showed great empathy to our loss and current situation (having to stay in hotel waiting to go back to our house), and put a very competitive bid (about 2/3 the bid of another contractor). We picked them and signed the contract. AOM uses Trello, a cloud-based project tracking system that software companies often use, to effectively and promptly communicate task description and updates to all workers and house owners. AOM workers are professional, hard working, and friendly. For such a big project, expectedly there were some hiccups and AOM had to juggle ours with their other on-going projects. David kindly explained to me various aspects of the repair work and promptly fixed any faults that we identified. I became to completely trust David's professional skill and that he would treat our house like his. Several nights and weekends David came to work late so that we could move back to normal life as soon as possible. In the end, we are very happy with our remodeled house. I sincerely recommend David and AOM for any house remodeling and restoration job."

"We had a different person who came out before them who was horrible and then I tried Crawlspace/Basement Waterproofing Solution because they were reasonably priced and they worked with me on scheduling their time so that they would be there when the electrician are there. They worked together with the electricians and were all done. They were wonderful. It was an all-day project but everybody worked together. Everybody showed up, everybody cooperated, and it was all done in one day with a big job. They were very good with the whole thing. The price was really good deal and all they have to do is seal from the outside to the inside. The biggest thing for us is that, they were here when everybody is here to do one thing. They are really good and we only had one problem but it was all filled up. This company gave exactly what we needed, showed up when they are supposed to, and did a great job. It was perfect. I would recommend right away to anybody before anybody else.  We were very impressed with them."

"Scott and his team are wonderful. After recently being scammed by a contractor that we hired to remodel my parent's home, I had to quickly find someone who is honest and reliable. I called Illinois Remodeling Consultants and explained our situation to Scott and he was quick to help us. He immediately went over to the property and gave us his honest observations. Because my parents were taken advantage of, he made sure that they did not have the same experience. His prices are completely fair and he even helped us with that. He took care of everything. We are so grateful to have Scott on our side. He is the best project manager and makes sure that everything is done. We are having the bathroom and floors remodeled and the back door fixed. "It was okay but the woman who came out was a little bit too concerned about speaking her own mind and I do not think that the time frame was long enough for her to really get a grasp of what it was that we were looking to do. She had some good ideas but it was not enough to convince me to go further and purchase an additional time, however, we had a particularly challenging project. It was not like it was a simple little thing and I threw a lot at her. She was not particularly prepared when she came so we had to spend part of the time getting her prepared. I had sent her an email in advance with the pictures and everything and said, "Here, so that you are going to be thinking about this before our call." And when she got on there, she had not really done that. So, that took some of the time for me to go and say, "Okay, take a look at the email. Here are the pictures." She did not come ready to go with advice and that was a little bit disappointing. The advice that she had was good but it did not solve my problem and it did not convince me to purchase additional time. I was not unhappy with her. It just did not wow me. It was what it was and it was fine. She came out within the time frame that we purchased the deal because we had just purchased the house. We were living in North Carolina and we purchased the house in Florida. We moved on December 2nd so it was between the date that we purchased the deal and December 2nd because we had to talk to her about what we wanted to change about the house before we moved. Ours was not your typical project. If somebody came in and just showed her a picture of a room with blank walls and they wanted her to help decorate it, I think that she could do that but ours was pretty hard."

"The work was done with perfection. It included complete renovation of my bathroom and the work was done efficiently and in a timely manner. He consulted us on a few colors and shades, but otherwise, he took it upon himself to completely satisfy us when we asked for a "rustic" look. He took several trips out of town until he found the exact product he was looking for and that he knew would be pleasing to us. I am so proud of my "new" bathroom and am anxious to show it off to friends. (Our daughter is especially impressed with the lighting Matt selected,) My husband was so pleased that he hired Matt to replace his bathroom stool and faucets. When we need remodeling done to our home, we will ask Matt Grotts to do the work."

"They did a good job. She had to submit like a photo but my daughter had them work on the central are of the loft. The deal was for one room. She got a lot of good ideal from her and it was worth it for her. They were professional and I did not hear anything negative."
