"Aldo responded quickly. He stopped by and gave me an estimate to install a new faucet in a bathroom, and fix a minor leak with a toilet. He offered to do both jobs immediately. Nice clean job."

"Aqua Tech Plumbing is by far the best plumber Ive had in years! They are professional all the way from beginning to the end of the job. I was given a one day time frame and the work was done in 7 hours! Every aspect of the job was done with professionalism, courtesy and respect. They cleaned up all of the debris and nothing was left for me to clean up. The head plumber explained each step of the process to completion."

"I set up an appointment with Anthony to run my gas boiler and get it ready for the season. Every winter I have a problem with my heating system. This year I wanted the problem diagnosed before the cold season. Anthony did an amazing job! Not only did he diagnose the problem. Apparently, the heating system I thought I had was essentially NOT what it was. Anthony gave a quick tutorial on how I should maintain my rads ect... and labeled all my pipes in the basement, one of my pumps was a goner. He had one in his tool bag an immediately replaced it. My system ( four floors) went on in minutes! Im really happy and confident in his work. Anthony worked on my system till it was completely up an running. I have had other heating specialists come and they have never been as thorough as Anthony."

"Excellent ...perfection ...professional ...courteous ...polite ...patient efficient .... if u need a plumber these are the guys to call ...... I had a leak under my large kitchen farmhouse double sink with plumbing set up for a dishwasher a garbage disposal a spray hose and a water filter with a reserve tank ..... the leak was intermittent ...... some times a lot of water sometimes a small puddle sometimes nothing ..... I tried several times to locate the source .... I live in a co-op apt so I had friends who were handy fixing there own plumbing issues take a look at the pipes ....I had the super /maintenance-guy check it out nobody could find what was leaking ...it was time to call a plumber.... Quite frankly I was dreading this whole experience.... when would they be able to come ...how long would this take to locate the problem....would they really be able to fix it since no one could find it ..... would they have the parts .... well Leonard called, said he could come the same day at 3pm.... he came 15 minutes early ..... I showed him the sink he immediately went to work ..... Thank God Leonard was patient .... It took 60 minutes to figure out that all of my devices under the sink when used, caused different levels of pressure on the drain pipe. The spray hose caused little pressure so small puddle leak, dishwasher lots of water lots of pressure so a big leak......this caused the drain pipe joints to become loose, the seal to be broken, and the water to leak out sometimes, that was why it seemed intermittent. But the real problem was the drain pipe was severely clogged because the pipes were not at the right slant to make the water run properly down the drain using gravity .....so the water just sat there and since I use a garbage disposal u can only imagine how badly clogged it was ....Leonard said we needed to fix the slant on the pipes then fix the joints and reseal pipes. But first and most importantly it needed to be snaked. So he went to his truck come back in 5 minutes used 25 foot snake 3 times he said it was not clear I could see this myself as the water was not going down the pipes .... At this point, I figured we would have to call the co-op board to get their plumber to snake the pipes in the building to fix this issue ......all I could think was this was getting worse .....Leonard said he just needed a longer snake he called his brother who came in 5 minutes with a 50 foot snake he used the 50 foot snake twice that finally cleared it .....no more filthy water ....he adjusted the slant of pipes ...put in new pipes with new seal ...... Leonard and his brother cleaned up all the debris got equipment packed and was gone in 10 minutes ....problem solved all of this only took 2 hours ....! Sink and all devices work perfectly now.... Absolutely Incredible!!!!!!"

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Baychester, NY

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
