That never happened, I called repeat talking and leaving messages to Pamela. Who would apologize but never resolve the problem. Two weeks later, asked what is taking so long and to speak to someone further up the food chain. Spoke to a supervisor who explained this was the first she was hearing about it. Another week and a series of phone calls which ended in insincere apologies. At that point, I had enough contacted the manufacturer myself and received the kickplate in a few days. Then I received this text from Pam. “Hello,This is Pamela with Garon T Plumbing, Heating & AC. Hope y’all are doing great today. Just wanted to touch base to advise that I don’t yet have the arrival date for the kickplate. I apologize for the delay and will let you know as soon as I know. Thank you - have a great weekend!” I replied we already have the kick plate and after three weeks of terrible customer service the issue was resolved. It’s a shame they have such appalling, customer service. We had plan to use them for additional work, however, with customer service unable to resolve a simple problem I’m not sure if I trust them moving forward. Since posting this I have not received any response from Garon T not even an offer to finally install the kickplate."

I had clearly explained the scope—replacing 10-12 standard switches with smart switches giving model number/spec—and was hoping for a lump sum proposal, but they only offered hourly rates, which is understandable. They estimated it would take about 2 hours, but the job ended up taking over 4. While they mentioned having done similar installations before, they spent quite a bit of time reviewing instructions on site, which added to the time and cost. The final bill was over $800 for a couple switches, including a service fee and $10 for wire connector? (The switches come with connector) Just a heads-up to others: be sure to ask detailed questions about hourly charges and how time will be managed, especially for smart device installations."

Problems still exist, also never quoted up front, just suprised me with a huge bill. Definitely get a quote before any work starts if you unfortunately do use them."
