"Outstanding! Had multiple issues with an aged HVAC system. We didn't have cooling or heating. HPC Services responded promptly, diagnosed the problems and expertly repaired the issues while explaining exactly what happened and how to maintain the system moving forward. Great coordination and teamwork from their entire team. We would not hesitate to use this company again!"

"Glad my shower stall pipe/faucet assembly was replaced and I am able to use my shower (waited an extra day because the new piping had to be ordered). Jordan informed me before hand that he would have to cut out some drywall but I would have to get someone else to repair the hole -anxious to get the repair done so I said ok. However, this meant I had to pay out more money in addition to the 1,374.00 to replace drywall. Also replaced knob & a bit of pipe for water heater. Portion of receipt and photos included. Your receipt from A&F Plumbing Services Service Date: Feb 13, 2024 Invoice Date: Feb 13, 2024 Services qty unit price amount 3/4 shut off valve without drain down 1.0 $389.00 $389.00 Supply and install a new 3/4 inch water shut off valve. 1 year parts and labor warranty 2 handle shower faucet 1.0 $985.00 $985.00 Supply and install a new 2 handle shower faucet with chrome trim kit. 1 year parts and labor warranty Amount Paid $1,374.00"

"They came out and looked at the tub I wanted refinished and told me it would be an additional $200 for the work. I felt the deal was a gimmick to get the company out to my home and add extra costs for more work done and I didn't really like that, but they worked it out with me anyway and did excellent work."

"Mr. Lee was easy to work with. He knew exactly what was needed to get the job done after looking at what he was working with. I needed to have a new shower drain and 2 inch PVC pipe installed after I removed the previous 15 year old leaking drain. I knew the next steps needed to be done by a professional. Glad to have found him and his expertise. I would definitely recommend this service."

"This is the third time we have worked with Rene and Renaissance Restoration. Rene and his guys are a pleasure to work with, and they do high quality work. Work performed included: Repairing and painting walls in kitchen, family room, bathroom and laundry room Replacing track lighting with pendant lights with dimmer Power washing and painting large front porch floor and steps Replacing and painting a casement basement door. Rene is very accommodating with schedule, shows up when he says he'll be there, responds quickly to questions, and he and his team do beautiful work. We will definitely continue to look to Rene next time we need any carpentry, painting, or repair work."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Bel Alton, MD

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
