"The work was done only one week from the day that they came out to see the roof for the estimate.
Everything looks great, and I could tell that it was very detailed and fussy work. The new shingles match the old ones perfectly; they are woven into the old ones well, and the valley where the old and new roofs meet is covered with what I think is called a "weave" seam, which looks like a herringbone pattern: extra fancy. I can see at least one side of the roof repair from an upstairs window. They worked after sunset to get the job done in one day, using headlamps. Cleanup was great, with no nails in the driveway or debris flying around, even though they were finishing up in the dark. Since I had more rotten plywood in the area to be repaired than originally expected, and the work took more shingles, the actual cost was understandably $219 more than the original estimate, but again, that was completely understandable and within the range of other estimates from other contractors. They had to fetch more shingles twice. Their written business policies state that this can happen, and it's only fair. They did call to explain this before they mailed the invoice. We have had one heavy rain since the repair was completed, and I am happy that there were no drips from the metal wrap under my porch, for the first time in about 21 years.
I hope that this repair carries me through until the entire roof needs redone in another 10-15 years, and I would have this outfit do the work then."

"Anthony and his crew were great - incredibly professional, responsive and punctual, and the work performed was very good.  Anthony responded to all my communications (calls, texts, emails) very, very quickly, which I found impressive.  He was very clear and direct in explaining everything, and the job was done within the time frame he had originally estimated.  Henry and Julio were very good too - very punctual, diligent, responsive to my questions and requests, and veryfriendly as well.  I especially appreciated the fact that they worked through the weekend in order to complete the job on time.

"Company was given measurements for my dining room table. Two of the pads were measured incorrectly and the wrong pads were sent to me. I called the company to explain the wrong measurements and gave new measurements for the end piece and one other piece. The end piece then sent to me was wrong again."

"The roof inspector was quick with the inspection, and advised he made minor repairs to the roof. The Inspector suggested a roof replacement within the next 3-4 years. No write-up of services rendered was provided.

"George's painting, inc was responsive and professional from start to finish. The project entailed wallpaper removal from 2.5 bathrooms and kitchen, repainting those rooms; installing a tile backsplash and vinyl tile floor in the kitchen; replacing the kitchen countertop; repairing a cabinet; repairing drywall and painting the ceiling in the master bedroom. The owner came out to do the estimate himself. He was accommodating when I wanted to expand the scope of the initial project and came out a second time to give me an updated estimate. He was easy to reach via cell or email. The estimate was more than fair. His crew completed the job in three days. The crew was polite, professional, and did a good job cleaning up at the end of each work day. I highly recommend this company and would use them again."

"Overview of Issue/Repair:
3 Level Townhome (finished basement):
Sliding door off kitchen on second floor was incorrectly flashed.  Due to this, the door needed to be removed, repaired/re-flashed, and reinstalled.  A section of "sinking" kitchen subfloor around this sliding door was also replaced    *Note: at this point we could have purchased a replacement door and had this installed at no additional cost; due to our budget, we decided to re-use the current slider* .  Additionally, a majority of the plywood and window framing below, in the basement, was rotted out. Siding was removed and replaced after all the rot was repaired with fresh plywood and framing.  We did take this opportunity to replace the 2 windows while they were out.
Overview of Experience:
It was apparent from the start that Timothy is clearly focused on understanding and providing what the customer wants/needs and not just obtaining a signed contract.  Timothy met with me in person and on the phone a handful of times prior to finalizing our contract.  Throughout the entire process I felt comfortable reaching out to him for advice and clarification, and never felt as if my questions were "elementary" or annoying.  
Timothy was on site each morning to see progress and ensure that everything was meeting our standard.  It is great to have this interaction with the owner.  Additionally, all of his team is punctual, knowledgeable, and friendly.  They take time to show and educate you as they are performing work.  Our family could not be happier with our decision to go with Timothy's Home Improvement; we look forward to future projects!
